Tonight has been awesome, I thought someone broke in about 11, turned out to be one of the Account Execs, she left around 4am. It was pretty sweet having company all night long, but she made me help her move a heavy-ass filing cabinet. That = Not cool. I hope you sillies enjoy your collective Monday!! I'm going to grab some breakfast and go lay in bed until mid-afternoonish.

Okay, as much as I am looking forward to SB, the fact that there is only one Monday left freaks me out a little.

I have 12 legal memos to grade, conference for half an hour with each student, and teach them all how to do legal

I feel your pain. I have two weeks of affidavits to have caught up before Wednesday, then I'm in Charlotte for the National Association of Broadcasters convention until Friday, on the air all weekend, down to a concert and meet & greet Monday, then between Tuesday and Wednesday another round of affidavits and trying to get everything packed. :shock:

Good to hear from ya Crys... hope the wedding plans are going smoothly!

Well, just found out that I will for sure be going to the NAB tomorrow. I'll be in Charlotte until Friday. But I will have my laptop with me so I'll try to check in as often as possible. Mainly because this convention is going to be sofa king boring. :lol:

The highlight of it will be getting to meet with John Boy & Billy. The rest of it? Seminars, workshops, bullshit! Fahhhk!!! I do not want to go!

Heck yes they do! JB&B are great. I've listened to them since the early 90s. I only hear them on Monday mornings these days as I drive home from work. I love Storytime with Mr. Rhubarb, and the Playhouse. They had Kasey Kahne on there a few Fridays ago and John Boy was just railing on him about the 'soccer-moms' and Kasey couldn't even respond he was laughing so hard. Those guys are brilliant.

So my boss and I are supposed to leave for the NAB around 9:00, and we're both still here working.
The one good thing about this, is on the way down there we're going to be talking pay raise!
Send good vibes!!!!!!! I know she'll hit me up to sell ads on the side for commission, but she knows I don't have time for that. I'm already working three different jobs here, and I have zero interest in selling advertising. I've done it. I loathe it.

2 BITS OF AWESOME NEWS:

1) They are going to let me pick what new laptop I get. She said I could have an Apple!!
2) This is the bed at the hotel I'll be staying at. How hot are those zebra print pillows!?! Awesome!!

I'll check in once I get settled at the hotel. Hope everyone's having a fantab HUMPday!

Update:

Its now past 3:00am, and boss and I are STILL at the office. She says she's leaving in five minutes to go home and pack. I don't believe we'll get out of here before sunrise. Sucks for her that I'll be skipping out on most of the seminars today to sleep! Muahaha! Breaks my heart, I tell ya. :roll:
