It's too bad about Perry's schedule not working out, that would have been a real special treat to hear Reba and Perry sing together!!

Anyways it still says alot about Perry's talent to be invited to sing by another great talent like Reba! :D

It sounded like she is considering a second. I'll bet he gets asked again.

Sorry...I've never thought that chick was all that good looking. Never understood why people thought she was pretty. Decent singer but ugly.

Yuck...

Dave,

That pic is about 300 years old. Try this one on for size... a little more recent:

That's not 300 years old. You over exaggerate. And aside from growing her hair out a bit, she looked like that up until about 96 or 97.

I don't really care how she looks. She's one helluva performer. In fact, one of my favorite concerts ever was in '93 at the San Diego Sports Arena. Brooks & Dunn and Reba. Incredible show!!! :) Of course, the "No Hats Tour" with Travis Tritt and Marty Stewart wasn't too bad, either...

MMmmm... back in the days when country wasn't Nashville pop. :?
I didn't say she wasn't a performer. She can rock the fucking house down, outlaw style!

Tragic news. He continues to decline awesome opportunities. He must simply not want to sing.

That is the only conclusion one can draw from this.

There are two.... the other being that he simply cannot sing. That White Sox World Series appearance a fews years back certainly lends credence to that.

Or he just thinks Reba sucks and wants no parts of her.

Good point EightyRock. I think most of us probably looked at it as if it was more current.
annie's cd was just released as well. she had a lot of other artists on it as well, just not reba.

I happen to think he is INCREDIBLY GOOD LOOKING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

AND so do I--one very sexy man.

I agree with you both, definately exudes sex-appeal. He may not be your Bon Jovi, prettyboy chiselled good looking......but he's very good looking in a more unique way.

She could still beat him in calf roping. :D

Or maybe he really was just too busy at the time, like he told Reba.

Except for one person, all of the duets on her album were done together.
She probably would have made an exception for SP, since she's been talking about him for years!!
But who really knows? Certainly not your negative-spewing ass (in your many posts).

And I have heard some raw vocals from him done around the time of, and since the WS, and his voice was just fine.

I wish he’d share it with us, and it’s frustrating when he doesn’t, but how do so many of his ‘fans’ go from frustration to such vicious negativity as is shown here in this thread, and others?

To each their own, but I really don’t get it. Do you guys really think he’s sitting around thinking of ways to screw over his fans? That he’s really stringing us along to sell records?

Which makes no sense. He’d sell just as many if he did make a definitive ‘I’ll never sing again’ statement - especially if he continued to communicate once in a while, as he does.

But why does he have to? Why can’t it be the truth that he’s not sure? That he has a strong desire to sing that’s only trumped by whatever reasons he doesn’t.
