Just posting it as the poster listed it, but thanks for feeling the need to point it out. Why do people do that?

It's just annoying when people don't know the real name of the song, like when someone says Mean Street's instead of Mean Street.
piecesofeight wrote:For me personally, those sort of things are the least of my problems, picks or worries. We get the point of what the song is. I am just glad they are touring together and that the anything is available online to view because I am in a personal health situation that is not allowing me to even go to a show.
I have learned that there is always someone worse off than we are, so I am not bitching about my situation. Just mentioning it so there's a bit of a clue where I am coming from when people start complaining about little shit.
All over the internet people are complaining about songs that are being played, not being played, who sounds like what, how bad the trip was driving, something dumb that happened while they were at dinner before the shows, they could only get four star, not five start, how a song sounds online, etc, etc, etc...
We have become a selfish society who things our situation sucks worse than anyone else and we bitch about dumb shit.
I really don't mean to go off on anyone, but all I try and do is post stuff for people to enjoy because that's one thing I can do.
DLR and EVH and f'n touring together. Those who get to go, enjoy it and get over picking it apart. Just be thankful that you get to go.
There are also many people overseas right now, who can't see the show. They are just thankful that something, anything is posted online to watch or listen too. Plus, not many things online are going to sound that great anyway, but it's something to appreciate having right now.
I don't usually get involved in the debate crap around here, nor do I get into it to often, but when I am just posting stuff and minding my own business and someone makes a remark, it can hit me wrong some days in my condition.
So many times around here, someone will be kind enough to post something and instead of enjoying the original intention of the post, people will start finding something to pick it apart. How it's spelt, how it sounds, how it looks, etc..
If you have your health, respect it and learn to just enjoy what is given to you and what's out there to appreciate.
The internet can be an amazing thing. Today technology is unreal. To be listening to and watching something right after it happens, it just amazing. That's all it should be about, nothing else.
In my world, something being spelled wrong, as long as the original point is still understood, is so the least of my worries. I guess a lot of it has to do with what situation we each are in or what we are going through.
Concerts used to be my favorite thing to do, I cannot do that anymore, so when I read about some of the stuff that people who get to go are complaining about, I just shake my head. People should just be happy VH is out there, this VH and they get to go to a show.
Again, I am just thankful for what's available online, no matter what or how it is, and those who I trade with so I can enjoy the shows.
Sorry for the rant. Peace out.
VHROTH-nothing personal to you. It's all good.

I agree with every word you posted. I have no complaints about VH and I actually think they sound better than they ever have. I didn't mean to offend you when I remarked about the wrong song name,I apologize. I hope your health improves. Thank you for all the information you have posted in the last couple of months like the press conference being on VH1 Classics, rehearsal videos etc. I appreciate it.

That would be cool. We could put them all together on a DVD and make a full show. That was funny when Dave sang "have you seen Wolfie's grades",classic!

I am on dial up, so I haven't watched them yet until they are downloaded, which takes a while within itself. I will look for that comment as I watch them. Which one did he say that on?
You know, I have put youtube vids to dvd, and they don't come out that great as far as vid is concerned. The pixels are pretty off. Have you had better luck?
