Rush Limbaugh -"What this says to me is that too many whites are getting away with drug use. Too many whites are getting away with drug sales. Too many whites are getting away with trafficking in this stuff. The answer to this disparity is not to start letting people out of jail because we're not putting others in jail who are breaking the law. The answer is to go out and find the ones who are getting away with it, convict them and send them up the river, too."

He did become addicted after using oxycotin prescriptions. The prosecution failed to get his PRIVATE medical files. He voluntarily went to rehab, what 4 or 5 years ago and has been sober ever since. He's spoken about his time there being the most worthwhile thing he's ever done.
There are people on this board who are addicted that you'd probably use unlimited time defending Larry.
This thread is about him raising money for marine families. Why try to besmirch him of that? Just cuz he made a mistake doesn't make what he believes in wrong, does it? You photoshopping pic's of him is so moral

He's raised lots of money for the military and was targeted by the U.S. congress as being against the military. That accusation is about as real as your photos.

I'm sure it's only a drop in the bucket compared to what Hillary raised for herself from this guy Norman Hsu.

If you want to go on believing the "phony soldiers smear." Go right ahead. It's not true, but what does that matter? My intent was to point out the good that is coming out of it. Others took it in another direction, yourself included.

Oh I'm sure, your intent was just that...oh gosh, did I infer that it was an opportunist moment in time? Opps, my bad....that's why you included Hilary...because she is also someone that has done things of an altruistic nature, right? :D

Duh!...how dumb of me...of course that's why! and the letter as a whole and it's being auctioned..and the bidders only reason to bid on it is of course only out of a charitable place in the heart...without any intent or purpose otherwise...just like this thread. Good on ya, RF...your heart is in the right place..something good results reguardless of ALL intent's and purposes. 8)

Who knows? My guess is that it will be a very valuable document. It may be a wise investment. Too bad I'm broke! :D And the state just raised my taxes again.

It's a brutal cycle that shows no sign of ending. Raise taxes, less spendable income hurts business. Unemployment goes up. More money needed for those in need. As long as the gov't has more control over people. That's all they care about. Their job security.

So is Harry Reid. He'll attack Limbaugh for some comments taken completely out of context yet he won't attack MoveOn.org for an advertisement slamming a decorated general.

And you are not? I was sexually active before I got married. When my boy's older I'm going to tell him to wait til he's married! That makes me a hypocrite! But I'm going to do it because it's the right thing to do. Just because I'm not infallible doesn't mean right isn't right. And he is right 98.8% of the time.
Liquid_Drummer wrote:I feel badly for the poor brainwashed saps that listen to his shit..

Yeah real brainwashed.
Just keep soaking in what the mainstream media decides to feed to you. Limbaugh provides a counterpoint to their "news"
