The memorial was such a beautiful tribute to Trevor. The words that Stu shared were so moving and really touched our hearts.

Wyatt is absolutely adorable, what a sweet baby boy!!

Dean and Lula thank you for allowing us to be there. We continue to pray for your family.

God bless you guys,

Wendy and John

the memorial for trevor was very touching & the church was so beautiful. it was so hard... sitting there finding it hard to breathe... then my eyes found baby wyatt... what a bright little he is & will be... even with tears running down looking at that sweet baby you couldn't help but smile. he is a cutie pie.

dean, lula & wyatt... we're all holding you guys close.

*hugs*

I want to thank Dean and Lula as well for letting us come and show our support during such a personal and difficult time. I know the outpouring of support from everyone here has impacted you both in a positive way. I don't always feel all that great about being a part of this insane and odd group of people, but I have these past couple weeks.

It broke my heart to watch as each hug reminded you of the loss in your life. But it gave me hope to watch as each of those same people were amazed at the beauty and awe of Wyatt. I was honered to be able to be a witness to all of this.

I know moving forward will prove to have hard days ahead, but I do see determination in your eyes to give Wyatt the best you both have to offer. You know that anything less is not even on the table.

Keep your chin up and keep reaching out to family and friends.

Stu, if you are comfortable, and Dean and Lula are ok with it, will you please post a copy of your tribute?

Thanks for the reports on Trevor's memorial. Bryn and I couldn't make it, but our thoughts were/are still with Dean, Lula, Wyatt, and Angel Trevor.

Thank you all. It was a lovely service. We played "When I Think of You" at the beginning. That song is so beautiful and I'm so glad it was written. As hard as it may have been for Steve Perry to put the profound emotions of loss into words, I'm so thankful he was able to. As time moves along my ache for Trevor grows. I am home alone with Wyatt today, Dean and Stu took the kids to Magic Mountain for a day I hope is filled with laughter. I appreciate the presence of our fellow MRers yesterday, your hugs and words of support brought both Dean and I some much needed comfort. Stu has our permission to share his encouraging words with you if he chooses, truly a man filled with kindness. Wyatt and I have enjoyed his new Pooh bear- thank you Wendy(s)! I still have cards to sort.... more thanks to come.

P.S.
Did someone here name a star in Trevor's name? An absolutely perfect tribute! We received the package yesterday before the service, but we don't know who it is from.
Until we meet again, may God
Hold you in the palm of his hand.

Just got in...

Postby RossValoryRocks » Mon Oct 29, 2007 1:33 pm

Long day in the airports and all. I will of course post my words, as soon as I dig out the notes and such, it won't be tonight though. I want to personally thank all of you. It was a tough weekend for everyone, but seeing everyone rally around members of our own little MR family was breathtaking. I took strength from it and I know Dean and Lula did as well.
Bless you all.

Tears running again reading this thread. Image But this pic helps. Wyatt looks so adorable I wish I could hold him. In a few months he and Jackson(my grandson) could have a play date if we weren't a continent apart.

I second what Rick said. I wish I could of been there too. Just knowing that some of our MR friends were there to support them makes me feel a bit better.

I wish I could have been there
Thanks for allowing us to share in your joy & your sorrow.
For reminding us how fragile life can be
To be thankful for every tear & laughter
& to appreciate all things great & small.

Remember
One day at a time.
If that's too much
Then one breath at a time.

Day & night
The stars shine
but we can't see them
for in the light we are blinded
by the limitations of the mind
listen to your heart
Know the stars shine
Even when we close our eyes

8)

A star gazing down upon us from the heavens
Showering us with celestrial love
When you wish upon a star
your heart can see forever far.
