He's not coming back, ever. Why would he do that and risk taking himself down off of the pedestal that he's been put on?

I agree with you whole heartedly with that statement, "Steve Perry lives on in the fans".

Then someone please put a bullet in him. His 'fans' are the worst part about him.

No, someone needs to shoot the "fans". Put them out of their misery. :P
How can someone waste their "golden years" pining for someone who doesn't even know or even CARE that they exist?

The only misery I see is people like yourself and amaron who post so crudely on this board about people you know nothing about!

Maybe it is because SOME OF US are in touch with R E A L I T Y.

My reality is just fine, I'm NOT the one posting on a PUBLIC message board to put a bullet in ANYONE like you and Amaron.

FIGURE OF SPEECH, SISTER, FIGURE OF SPEECH.

Don't bother. This is Little Miss Sensitive who didn't have a problem trolling when Augeri was the singer but when there is criticism of The Hermit, she gets offended.

Yea, so what, no big deal, I wasn't a fan of Augeri's, that's my right to like who I like! Get over it Mr. sensitive Amaron!

Ok.. so you're just a hypocrite bitch then. Gotcha.

You can say whatever you want about Augeri, because it's "your right" but I can't about Perry? Right.

Shut the fuck up you waste. I hear someone said something about Perry somewhere else on the internet..... PERRY PROTECTORS GO!!

Just as you have the right to spew negatives regarding Perry, his fans will always have the right to offer their rebuttal. Doesn't make them a "waste", any more than you are.

How about getting out of the negatives all together? On both sides. Might be nice for a change. Cause it's older than shit and really boring. And that is my opinion.

Nuff said... back to work for me.

You fail to see who the real problem is, My FIRST post today was NOT to you or tigerbite , I was agreeing with "another poster" about a statement he or she made on their post about PERRY.

It had NOTHING to do with you or TB and certainly not Augeri either. Then you and TB both jumped on my post harrasing me for no reason, oh geeze, I forgot, I'm not an Augeri fan, Boo hoo!

You and TB need to get a reality check!

Journey is making a HUGE come back??? Dude, you need to hang around here a bit before you make a stupid statement like that. They don't even have a lead on a lead singer......Get real.

Read the text soso before you start calling people stupid, I said the "music" is making a comeback. Due to events like the hall of fame, Sorpanos, Dallas Quarterback singing "Dont Stop", etc, etc. And this thread is NOT about Journey, it's about Steve Perry.

Does this have anything to do with the rumor about him performing in January 2009 in Vegas somewhere?

Would I love to see it happen - Sure. Is it going to happen - probably not.

Leave the man alone - he doesn't owe anyone anything.

HOWEVER

Dipshit and Dingbat owe him a whole lot.
When in doubt, DUCK!

haters are hypocrites

Postby lidobar » Thu Nov 01, 2007 10:33 am

Just reading the postings on this thread makes me think that most of the haters of the current Journey line-up are hypocrites. All the boo-hooing and crying over how they disrespected JSS yet these same folks bash each other on this board for posting an opinion. What a totally hostile and negative board this is. No wonder Journey took down back talk, posters are nasty. I fully support the current Journey members and wholeheartedly look forward to whatever new music they come up with regardless of what singer they have.

Do not put all of us in your so-called hate category. If you think what used to be this Journeyforum so bad why did you even come here?Hey there are alot here that are not to happy with what the Journey Founder has done.Since you seem to know all about then don't knock it.And besides there are several thousand people that agree with us.

I'm not sure you could actually say there is a "current Journey line-up". Without a lead singer, are they really a band? Many of us do not anticipate 'new music'. We believe any hope for that went out the window with JSS.

As far as the hostility goes, recently it can be traced back to one person. It will be up to Andrew to decide his fate.

Refreshing!

I will continue to attend a Journey concert with any new vocalist they may have, just to have the right to give my point of view. What support that I give is only in the hope that I will get to see them at their best again someday. I really believe that the sound of Perry's voice would be of a different quality and no doubt even more wonderful than ever. Tony Bennett voice is a far cry from the voice that he started out with as was Frank Sinatra's and yet both singers can and could move you to tears in their later years.

I sympathize, if not empathize with your deep -eated bitterness.

Bound to happen when your advances continue to be met with unmitigated scorn.

bingo. HIS time frame, not mine or anyone elses. In the meantime, I'm not stopping living life. I went to see/hear Bruce Springsteen two days ago and I see Evanescence in a week. If he puts something out, I'll buy it. If he decides to tour again, I'll go. but my life has not stopped revolving while he lives his life.

Balance, peeps....balance in all things.
