I know the Augeri and Soto lovers will want to tar and feather me for saying that, but let's face the facts - when people paid to see Journey with Augeri or Soto, 99% of them paid to see someone impersonate Steve Perry.

I can see where you might think that of SA, but no one, and I mean NO ONE who left the venue after a JSS-fronted Journey show thought they had just seen Perry. JSS was "new" and brought an unbelievable energy that Journey had lost in the last year or two. The name "Perry" was not on people's minds after JSS was through with 'em!

And that isn't a blast on SP or SA - JSS just blew people out of the water!

Nah, Steve could do Journey, SA could do Arrival/Tall Stories stuff and JSS can just do his ol' great music. It wouldn't have to be all three singing Journey, just all three on the same bill!
