Well, I'm not believing it, either, but if they were trying to get together with Perry, I'm sure they'd be very tight-lipped about it. I wouldn't expect Lora to know anything.

If Lora didn't know she just wouldn't say anything Dave. Despite what some have said about her she's honest and has a great deal of integrity.

I'm not saying she's lying but I am saying that she may not know what the heck she's talking about.

And what I'm saying is she wouldn't say anything if she didn't know what she was talking about.

I don't believe Steve wants all the hype that goes along with fame...He seems happy with his life as a real person, doing what he wants when he wants to. As we get older our priorities change and so do our desires and interests and maybe he has others besides singing and performing now. He is a legend and should remain as such. He really is a human being just like us and wants a REAL LIFE, not just a life on the stage.
Give him a break! Just listen to the music you have and appreciate it for what it is....MAGIC.

Our local rock radio station WCVS in Springfield, Illinois reported that there are rumors coming from reliable sources that Steve Perry is going to be touring with Journey in 2008. This station has always been correct about rumors that they have broadcast in the past regarding concert tours. They have been the first source that I heard about Steve Augeri / Journey, Jeff Scott Soto / Journey, David Lee Roth / Van Halen, and other tour rumors. I can only hope that they are right about this. I would think there must be some credible sources speaking out for them to broadcast something of this nature. They also said that Steve Perry was going to be in Nashville preparing his voice for the tour, and that the lineup would consist of "original" band members.

Now don't slam me for putting this rumor out, because I am only passing on what I heard on the radio. My wife heard it too, and we both smiled at each other and gave a high five. We are both HUGE Journey fans, and this would be a dream come true for both of us.

If this reunion happens, we'll be flying somewhere to see the first show - and probably several others also.

I hope this is true because if it is I'll travel anywhere, within reason that it, to see the group. Since I never had the chance to see them before. But I'm also taking a wait and see approach to this. I know what Steve P said on FA. Only time will tell. Who knows what is going on behind the scenes. So Journey is either in the studio right now with Arnel Pineda or Steve Perry. Could there be any other cliffhanger to see what twist fate turns on? If it's Arnel, it's business as usual, and we go right back to the old bickering and bashing, but this time with race baiting thrown in for good measure. If it's Perry, there will be flowers, peace and light, and Journey fans can once again hold hands and sing Kum Ba Ya. Man, nothing against Arnel, but I'm sure hoping for the latter.
