30 years ago my Daddy had just dropped out of med school after he broke up with his first fiancee... and my mom was just out of high school and working at the Tastee Freez. ...I didn't exist. :P

30 years ago, I loved all things American...Coke, Big Mac, NFL and all the music. 30 years on...I must have been fuckin' mad, Stones, The Who, Clapton, U2..and I followed Starship, Styx, Journey and Chicago and the like....biggest mistake I ever made (except for ND, the 4 cord specialist!) Shallow commercial claptrap and junk food, just like all Melodic Rock...utter shite. Sentimental bullshit which will be lost in the annals of history....oh, a few sentences but that's about all. Long hair, leather and anthems, what a joke.

Eagles, however..they're an institution and a lesson in how to do it right and what Americans should shout about. Long live the Eagles.....Sentimental street.....give it a rest :x As for Steve Perry joining Journey, who gives a fuck, they were part of the America, which stagnated and messed up current culture.

30 years ago was right around my 9th birthday. I remember telling my dad when I was 9 that I didn't want to turn 10 because I thought 9 was the best age ever! I was a huge fan of Donny Osmond at the time. I was in the Osmond fan club. So, I've been an obsessed fan of some type of music for most of my life!

I was a freshman in high school, therefore I was probably (at this moment) swimming a couple miles in some freezing ass water to get ready for a meet or something. The following spring, Journey would make one of three visits to this li'l bitty hicktown.

I was a big Donny Osmond fan then, too...in fact, I've been one for thirty-five years. Keep it between us...

I was 16 learning to drive, cranking out the cassets of KISS, STYX, NUGENT and NAZERATH and JAMES GANG and MAYBE SWEET.

Happens to me too. I look the next day praying to God I didn't say something I'll regret forever. A few beers and I'm a babbling idiot.
I like to sit out on the front porch, where the birds can see me, eating a plate of scrambled eggs, just so they know what I'm capable of.

It takes me only one margarita, so it's (1) a good thing I don't have any Tequila at home and (2) a good thing you guys haven't met me in person! :D :D :D

I knew what you meant! :D Someone recently asked me just "how married" I was (yeah, a jerk!)!!! I said, "One marriage, thirty years and three kids, is that married enough for ya?" I lied - it's only been 28 years. :D
