Thanks for the message. I still hate T.O. too. He's a jackass. I have to live with him though. You can have him back if you want. I'm still not sure why the Eagles didn't give the Cowboys a better game. I was sure it would be a nail biter.

T.O. made the Eagles defense look like his bitch. The Eagles defense has been really good this year. McNabb is quite human at this point. Put those factors together, and the Eagles have a long way to go at this point.

I hate the Cowboys, but you gotta love this.

EVERYONE hates T.O.! He's the most unlikeable guy I've seen in the NFL in many years! T.O. is all about T.O., and could care less about anything else. If he could catch 15 TD's a season with 1500 yards receiving, his team could be 2-14, and it wouldn't matter to him, one iota!
As for how great the Cowboys are...They're an NFC team! I watched them play the Patriots, and didn't come away terribly impressed with them. They're a good JV team, but that's the extent of it! They could play the Colts 10 times and the Patriots 10 times, and they'd lose all 20 games! Not to mention, Wade Philips is a MORON! When asked what his strategy was in the Patriots game, the guy actually said "We weren't going to let them beat us with the running game. If they were going to win, we were going to make Tom Brady beat us"! HUH????? Does this guy have his head up his ass? Has he even seen the Patriots play??? Has he ever even heard of Tom Brady??? I'm pretty sure the Patriots don't even attempt to make ANYONE think they have ANY running game to speak of. Philips coming out and making a statement like that about a guy who could retire tomorrow and be a first ballot hall of famer is as dopey of a comment as I've ever heard any coach make, in any sport! Jerry Jones should have fired Philips immediately following such a moronic statement! There is a reason this guy has never been a successful head coach anywhere! I hope the Patriots are able to play the Cowboys again in the Super Bowl, because there is no doubt in my mind with Philips at the helm, it might be a bigger blowout than when the Patriots lost to Chicago in Super Bowl 20 (46-10)!

Sure Rick...It sure seemed to work out in the Cowboys favor last time around with no cameras. On another note, I'm not sure I've ever seen ANY issue more overblown than this. Did the Patriots record signs??? Absolutely! EVERY team in the NFL tries to steal signs...It's been going on FOREVER, and won't end because the commissioner said it should! Why do you think Eric Mangini was ostracized by most in the coaching fraternity (and Peter King reported this on Inside the NFL on HBO...not some biased Boston newspaper) after turning in Belichick. Coaches understand this goes on. Why do you think every coach you see on camera has a sheet of plays in front of his mouth???? This isn't rocket science folks! It's been going on as long as football has existed, and won't be stopping anytime soon!

Rick wrote:They could have beaten the Patriots. So could the Colts. The Cowboys beat the Colts last year with a worse team. The Patriots played bad yesterday. If they'd brought that to Dallas, they would have lost. Don't forget, the Cowboys were in the lead at one point in the game, and the Colts were in the lead more than the Patriots. They can lose, and they will.
As far as Phillips comment goes, it makes perfect sense. If you take away the running game, then they'll have to throw the ball more. Dallas' defense has caught it's share of interceptions. You aren't going to beat the Patriots straight up. You have to have help in every aspect of the game.

Rick...
With all due respect, if you truly believe Philips' comment "makes perfect sense", then you're as big of a buffoon as that jackass is! Like I've already said, the Patriots have ZERO running game, so taking away something that already doesn't exist tells me that he spent ZERO time on his game plan! You don't game plan against something that a team simply can't and doesn't do!
As far as the Cowboys and Colts go...Sure they could have beat the Patriots, but guess what...they didn't!!!!! You hit the nail on the head...The Patriots played badly, and I agree with you, but they still won the game, in spite of what I thought was a horrendous performance by them. As far as the Cowboys being in the lead and the Colts being in the lead "more than the Patriots", I'm not sure I even understand your point! I've been watching football for 30 years, and as far as I know, the only time the score matters is when the clock is showing 0:00!
One final point...I certainly never once claimed the Patriots couldn't be beat. I've been watching football long enough to understand that ALL teams can be, and probably will lose games. In fact, I would be stunned if the Patriots didn't lose a game, as they still have the Giants and the Steelers on the schedule. Fortunately for we New England fans, we really don't care about an undefeated season, anywhere near as much as we care about another championship. I'll gladly give up a loss or three for another Lombardi trophy! I know this...If the Colts are the team playing the Patriots in the AFC Championship game, it looks like that game will be played in Foxboro, and the Colts have ZERO shot of winning a game in mid-January with the weather conditions they'll have to deal with in New England, in the middle of the winter! That's the only reason that game was even remotely important to me yesterday...It's all about home field in January!

Yeah, I forgot who it was for the Eagles, but Julius Jones was on his knees, so he was down, and some bastard came flying in and laid a helmet to helmet hit on Jones. Madden was shocked he wasn't ejected.

I kid I kid! But yeah, I pretty much despise both teams.
