I love to welcome new Journey fans, but may I recommend backing off on posting shit like Arnel's a better singer than Perry 'cause that'll get a lotta folks angry with you.

As of now, only 265 out of 6271 of us are NOT F'rs.
So I wonder are there varying degrees of F'ness?
Minimum F'rs, Moderate F'rs, Good F'rs, Great F'rs, etc.
And at what numbers does one graduate to the next level of F'ness?

As much as I hate to see it get to this point I am glad Andrew is taking care of the nonsense. I love talking Journey with everyone, good or bad opinions but it gets too heated sometimes and I just back off. I havent posted as much lately as I was because of a difference of opinion that got more heated that I wanted it to happened about a month ago. Now, when is that Arnel announcement happening and when will the tour schedule be released?!?!!?

Well, I certainly agree with Andrew 110%. I love coming here and learning about the latest happenings of Journey and discussing things, but honestly, all the gay jokes, the gay bashing and the 12 year old mentality from so many of the people here towards homosexuals keeps me from posting a lot.
The stuff with Arnel I thought was in horrible taste and just because you don't like someone doesn't mean you have to eviscerate them each time you comment.

Thank you Andrew for taking this stand. Maybe it would do us all some good to be a little kinder to others and realize it's not just heterosexuals, or white people who visit this site and who love Journey.

there have been some pretty imature & unproffesional comments as of late.
The fact is, Journey is a BUSINESS & they will run it the way they want PERIOD.We shall see soon enough how all this plays out,just sit tight and pray for new material and enjoy the old as well !!

Yes, clean the BS up. One good reason is, the content will distort the search engine indexing of this site and alot of times, with all the racial, peronal attacks, and the occasional pOOrn post, this site could be indexed incorrectly, such as a hate site or pOOrn site, and that would cause search engine listings to be lower, affecting revenue from ads, etc.

That's a possibility. Those of us who are new and harmless (I like to debate, but don't like getting crucified by the "fanatics"). would be willing to pay a bit if it means weeding out the bad news makers.
On another forum I frequent, the owner/moderator gives "three strikes" to trouble makers, then they are "out".

Post number has ZERO to do with how good of a member someone is. In many cases, it more refers to people that have nothing better to do or no lives. There's plenty of posters out there with low numbers that have had very quality posts, but they keep out of the spotlight in fear of getting a verbal beatdown from some of the "elite" posters. Personally, I'd rather have quality posts and good debate/discussions from posters than have to read #@!@#^$ from people who have xillion posts and nothing to say.
