OT: My Plink FLoyd Tribute live.

Postby Liquid_Drummer » Fri Nov 16, 2007 1:11 am

Well we played our 1st two shows and it was amazing. Soon we will have video up as part of our promo pack. On the 1st night we had 150 people but on the 2nd we had close to 1000 !! Woot ! Anyway we recorded the whole thing so I thought I would let you guys have a listen. We only had one real snafu the whole night when one of the female backup singers monitors died and she couldnt hear the keybords which caused her to sing Great Gig in the Sky in a most unsatisfactory fasion. Oh well, thats live for ya... Here are the closing songs on dark side of the moon and the last song of the night Run like Hell from the wall live at Coyotes in louisville, ky on nov 2nd. No audiance mics so you really cant tell that there were 1000 people but trust me it was off the damn hook. God I cant wait to do it again....

It looks like the apostrophe in Coyote's kills it. :?

Jim, and anyone else that are having trouble. I'm going to zip them up and send them to Yousendit so you can download them.

I hate to say this, but...conglomo radio's insistence of playing Pink Floyd every 5 songs has actually got me so burnt out on them I'm not sure I would want to hear a tribute to them in concert.

I loved Pink Floyd...but radio has about ruined them for me. I haven't plugged them in my cd player in years.

Its a full on production with 9 members, complex lighting, video and an incredible soundcraft powered sound system. Its one mans brainchild and its working out great. Boy is it expensive to put on this show. Investers, absoulute vodka sponsorship, the whole nine yards. I feel very lucky to be a part of it. I will post some photos of the stage setup when I get them back. Well, they will be in our website which is useless at the moment. There will be pro live video of us on our website soon too.
