Song Request

Postby annie89509 » Sat Nov 17, 2007 6:27 pm

I have the original versions of Arrival and Generations (copied as I would never pay for a SA-era record  ). Can someone be so kind and post World Gone Wild and Never Too Late, so I can have the complete album tracks? Don't believe I have heard these 2 songs but from what everyone says, are really great Journey tunes.

Was there also another track added onto Arrival other than WGW? I thought I read that Neal added 2 more rock songs to Arrival, because he didn't like so many ballads. That would make Arrival a 15-16 track record?

LOL -- I concur! :P If not paying for a Steve A era record is a protest move not wanting to give money to Journey, I can understand that. But they don't get the money if you buy it from another party. :D

Welcome Annie, by the way, and glad to have ya here. "World Gone Wild" is one of my favorite tracks on Arrival.

First thing that crossed my mind as well. How would JSS feel if I did that to his stuff?

SA love or hate him, worked his butt off while he was there. If you're gonna get enjoyment from the cd's he did, please have the decency to pay for it.

you know the strange thing about this? a year and a half ago ... a big group of us didnt know much about JSS and we didnt know where to buy his music..AND lots of it you couldnt get until his website was reorganized... folks were buying and trading and turning each other on to new/old tunes of his back and forth,, that process made me a fan that will BUY his next album... it might only work if your trying to get your name out.. 8)

Great point Larry. Nowadays that's how we hear about new artists alot. What bugged me was the never pay thing. I don't think anyone said "I'd never pay for JSS music but can you send me his stuff?"

@ Annie:

Sorry if I came off grouchy. I just woke up. :) I actually first heard SA off the net as well, liked what I heard and ordered the Arrival and Red 13 cd. Generation I got at the show.

Ha ha, you guys, I should expect these kind of responses from this board. No, I didn't pay for the original ones because I am a PerryOnly  . Spent a LOT of money on HIS Journey. I don't know how to do the Napster thing. Got Arrival and Generations (the original versions), Red13 and 2001 dvd, plus assorted SA concert boots-- through acquaintances and trading.

I thought with people so willing to upload tracks on yousendit and sharing their "stash", I would make a request as I have never heard those 2 songs, yet posters rave about them from time to time. Oh, well.
