Very rare: Remember Me Extended version promo cd single

Postby fpas » Fri Nov 16, 2007 8:38 am

As I have gotten my hands on a copy earlier this year, I wanted to post this notice about the availabilty of this collector's item.
I got a mail, after many months, from a sell-through website, which handles a lot of collectible stuff.
This promo-only cd-single is for grabs, $15, and contains the longer version of Remember Me, from the Armageddon movie soundtrack.
This extended version is not available on any other official cd. The duration is 5 min. 59, it's longer at the end, where the normal version has a little edit and a earlier fade-out. This longer version is better in my opinion.
So if you are a big fan, and want this.......contact me.

Great one, Lar! I still say that Remember Me was completely wasted in that film. It would've been PERFECT for the end credits, as was advertised. Ugh. Off my soap box now....

There's a scene in the movie where Ben Affleck and Liv Tyler are talking about animal crackers. I think he is making them walk across her bare abdomen ( ) and doing a funny voice. On the reprise of Don't Wanna Miss A Thing on the soundtrack, they include that audio.

This is not a copied cd.
Let me make it clear.
I am not the one selling this cd, because I have one already.
I got a notice about a inquiry I did, when I was looking for a original copy of this promo.
But, because now I already have one, and I received the notice from a website who sells collectibles, I thought I would share it with fans.
Maybe somebody wants to get their hands on a original copy, like I did earlier this year.
And it goes for $15!!!
So there.

And let me make it clear. I'll send the .mp3 to anyone who wants it - so they don't have to pay $15 for one song.

So there.

.....and pondering if they should roam to the ample hills or the musty swamplands!!

Thank you very much.

This version of "Remember Me" kicks the common version in the ass, from the beautifully extended ending to the lack of vocals during 4:28 to 4:43, allowing some powerful instrumental melodies to kick in.

Oh! Sorry, very sorry. I see. But still, $15.00 seems a bit steep, but for collectors perhaps it's worth it. Would like to hear it on Youtube or something first. ;)

That's okay, you can put still up and have the song playing over them.

Remember Me was a great way to get the ball rolling, too bad it was a ball of yarn that's down to its last thread.
