Does Anyone From Journey Ever Post Here?

Postby texafana » Sun Nov 18, 2007 7:18 am

With all the bashing, (joking or serious) I wouldn't think anyone from the JCamp would post here, but is there any threads to read here where someone from the Journey camp (past or present) responded to any of the topics, be them positive or negative? I see that JSS has posted a bit, very cool, but it still seems like a few aren't convinced it's really him?

JSS sure is and so was Steve Augeri. I think that Augeri is also posting here. If you watch the posts, you can identify his style after a while. He usually posts somewhat behind a post dissing Cain.

Funny thing about his choice of handle "lockandload is something I would think would fit Ted Nugent more that the Neal Monster! Or is he refering to the kind of "stud" he is

Well that was an interesting...seem like any other guy, but with the perspective of being THE FOUNDING member of Journey....Good read.. Was he the first one to mention 'Arnel'?

I've heard of online date matching, but online new band member matching...lol

Also what was that jab at JSS re-joining the Boogey Nights disco cover thing? Must've been an inside joke??

I read locknload's posts and don't see why anyone thought that was Neal. I don't believe any of them post here.

He apparently made a comment regarding Jeremey's audition in the band that no one else other than someone in the Journey organization could have known. I believe that was locknload, anyway.

Well, if you search all posts by locknload there is no mention of that or anything that to me sounds even remotely like Neal. He/she only made 12 posts.

The post/thread in question was deleted shortly after it was posted. That's why there is no mention of it now.

Yep, I saw that post. I know who had it removed too. It was removed quickly, but not quick enough. Many people saw it.

I just read all of them along with all responses, and I think there could be a good chance it was him. Apparently, Andrew might have thought so also, if you read his post here: http://forums.melodicrock.com/phpBB/vie ... 36#3900936

Sounds like he was calling him out a bit...

I'm not seeing the calling out part...??? I would think that Andrew would be more direct and actually make reference to it being Neal. He hasn't had a problem in the past making it known when people show up posting as someone else.

The other thing that makes me think it isn't Neal is that the posts are fairly intelligent...  I don't hink Neal can speak that well.

OK...you're the first I've seen say that they actually saw that post themselves. Others have referred to the post and even it's contents, but they also have said they didn't see it themselves.

So, it was made by locknload? I thought it was an "anonymous" post.

Yep, I saw it. I don't remember the posters name though. I honestly don't think it was locknload, but I could be wrong. I'll ask the person that had it deleted and see if they remember. It was a prickish post for sure.

It was anonymous in that locknload did not identify himself as someone "in the know", not that the user name itself was "Anonymous".

The info was given by one of the mods that it was in fact Neal. He was on here nosing around to see if the shitstorm over JSS's fucking over um I mean dismissal had died down.

It wasn't one of the mods who clarified that LocknLoad was Neal, ChiefDoDoBird, it was Dean. You didn't catch on that it was Neal in that thread until Dean came in and said it was.
