Don't leave Perry out just 'cuz he wore a no "scatting" t-shirt.

Journey = Scarab = Dung Beetle (or so I hear)

The image below, I kid you not, is called "cain806".

tiny little goalies... awe!

I think parents who allow their kids to become goalies are child abusers. Seriously, who wants to face rubber at 90mph? It's like strippers. Strippers hate their fathers and leave home at 13. Goalies are wacked out of their skulls.

Wyatt is getting skates for Christmas. He will be on the ice by April of 2008.

PS- Ruslan Salei sucks. He is no Phanuef, Ohlund or Lidstrom that's for sure.

PPS- If Deb gets pissed, o well. Calgary has been Vancouvers' bitch for 7 straight games. They are getting real good at it too.

 Things are turning around. Battle of Alberta last night, great game. :D

Hey now! My brother in law and nephew are both goalies. My bro in law was training with Mike Vernon years ago, never quite made it to the NHL though, Mike got picked.........BIL coaches now.

Thats not nice Image. We all have imperfections - INCLUDING YOU.

LOL - I try to stay away from controversy, but here goes: It seems the great majority of posters here are not teen-agers (except Strange Medicine) or even really in their twenties; we've all been following Journey for years and years.

I highly doubt that the male members of this forum are all ready for the cover of GQ. Trust me, I am not anywhere near the cover of anything, but calling the women "heifers" is really insulting. Debate the points, argue who's best, who's washed up and who won't sing again, but not everyone can look like a porn star with bouncing boobs. Real people, real bodies. I don't see why someone's weight needs to be commented on.

Okay, I'm dressed like a goalie and ready to deflect the insults. Unless it's from Deano! :D I'll let that one through! :D

Ahh, blow it off. It's just the poster's insecurities. People that are constantly concerned with others appearances just show how insecure about themselves they really are. I'm in that video stevew2, so call me a heifer if you need to, but it isn't going to take a damn thing away from that day for me.

it seems some of the men here suffer from insecurities. prolly from looking at sp's tight pants. };C) i have a theory... if a guy is a jackass it prolly means his family jewels are really tiny... maybe not even visable to the naked eye. doh! }:C0

Hi Deb, thanks for posting that. I don't know who that lady was (Chrissy) but I noticed she was nervous. While he was talking and hugging the others, she was getting even more nervous. Good to hear background from people who were there.

You can't see Chrissy (purple shirt) as much in the first part, so I think you might be talking about Jill (who is just a doll too) at the back, who looked like she was going to hyperventilate. She was crying, that is her hubby you can hear snickering as he videos it. Hmmmm, I wonder if whoever posted that got Gary and Jill's permission to youtube it? :?

To add to Debbie's commercial:

The instrumental will be great and we got a sneak preview for his vocal songs too, and it is much heavier than anything he's done recently. I think the guitar in them is awesome. Definitely will be great 8)

Perry's speaking voice sounds REALLY raspy to me. Especially during the "Behind the Music" deal. It would be interesting to hear what his singing voice is like, but to me, he sounds incredibly beat up vocally. Hopefully not...
NO. He's NOT Steve F'ing Perry. But he's Arnel F'ing Pineda and I'm okay with that.

Hi Bry, there you are. There's some OT thread about a Journey church you should check out (your av).

On the BTM he does sound raspy, it sounds better here to me. On FTLOSM there's all the heavy breathing so I think he's been having these issues since that time.

Yeah, I decloak once in a while or when I've been drinking, which I had on this post. Personally, I think he's been raspy since Frontiers. Before that album, the guy had the smoothest voice, and then right around Frontiers, it got raspy and increased throughout his Journey years. Raised on Radio- that tour saw him cracking and being raspy. In fact, some of the later shows for Frontiers were similar. Everything was played 5 times as fast and you could totally hear him wrecking his voice. However, having said that, the Japanese and Seattle shows (at the beginning of the tour) were magic.

Journey Church--- Ugh. I'll have to check that out.

I used to have boots from so many shows from '79 on up, and you can tell in '82, when he'd sing Wheel In The Sky, there's that real high falsetto part during Neals solo, some time in '82 he stopped doing that as much, or an easier version of it. I saw them in '83 and he did the falsetto part the whole way though, so I guess it was night to night on how his voice felt. They were really sped up in '83 for sure.
I like to sit out on the front porch, where the birds can see me, eating a plate of scrambled eggs, just so they know what I'm capable of.
