These teams have traditionally played close games even when one team or the other hasn't been very good. Back in the 80s when the Cowboys were 1-15 and the Redskins were still good, the only win that year was against the Skins, so it's not unusual for them to play it close.

Offensively they're fine, but I agree the defense needs to man up a bit if they have any hope of going all the way. But DAMN.. T.O.ROMO was a hell of a combo today, the show of the weekend for sure.
