Deano, Deano, Deano, how pac-10 blind are you??? Do you realize how pathetic the pac 10 is this year??? Much more than any other major conference??? Have you looked at what conference is holding down #1 currently? In case you havent-LSU FROM THE SEC. OK, I'll admit that by BELOVED Florida Gators UNDERACHIEVED this year but considering the inexperienced defense we are fielding in the toughest conference in college football I'm happy with the progress. Have you looked at what conference is leading the Heisman voting??? In case you havent-Florida's Tim Tebow FROM THE SEC. I get in these kind of discussions with people all the time, usually its because they dont know balls from hair about football. Deano, you do know balls from hair dont you??? When will you pac 10 folks realize that the SEC is the king, whether all the guns are currently loaded or not, they will all fire. Laugh if you want to, but Nick Saban will have the Tide back very soon. My Gators will be SCARY in 2008. And this guy below will be the country's worst nightmare.....
Image
Now, if you really wanna debate it I encourage you to look at all time statistics-compare your pac 10 boys to the SEC boys, your probably gonna be surprised. And yes, I am a Floridian but I love corn bread, collard greens, southern fried chicken, butter beans, and fried okra. Try it sometime-OH WAIT!!!! Your on the pacific coast, that means tofu and bean curd.....

That's disgraceful.

Florida's going to lose at least 4, possibly 5 times by the time it's all over.

Christ, with those credentials and his 2k+ yards and 15-20 td passes, Anthony Morelli should be going to NYC, too right San Juan?

Haha. What a complete joke. All I read was excuses and stats.

Tim Tebow is not as good as Dennis Dixon.

The PAC 10 only had one OOC bad loss (UCLA to Notre Dame). The SEC had many. Many home losses to schools never heard of before.

You are seriously delusional.

Numbers DO lie. Take a look at the Stanford defense. They had the absolute best rushing defense in the country last year. Know why? Because every team passed at will and there was no need to ever hand the ball off.

Again, you are on crack.

Exactly why I cited Borelli as a strawman.

Tebow, w/ 5 losses, gimme a break.

Tebow has 3 losses, and unfortunately none were due to poor QB play. Our defense let him down. Watch the games and you'll see. Why do you think we will have 3 losses? We have our state rival in the swamp this saturday-Tebow has a BIG day!!! We are eliminated from the SEC Championship so our next game will be the Bowl, still possible to make a BCS at large bid. We are playing great football right now. No reason to think we wont win that also.

I don't understand why LSU has a problem keeping and holding onto coaches. LSU is a much better job than Michigan.

Have to agree with ya on that one. He certainly gets a little carried away with some of his praise on Duke but he does the same thing with a lot of other teams as well. He gets on my nerves sometimes. BTW, talkin about Diaper Dandy, Kevin Love is tearin' it up at UCLA. I hate to say it, but I think he'll be a "one and out" player.

As far as football goes.... Give him a school that runs an option heavy offensive scheme and he'll be happy.

Navy. Boring as Hell. Option right, option left, incomplete pass, punt. Repeat 34 times until buzzer. Hope for fumble recovery. Schedule Notre Dame yearly.

I tally 5 by the new year, with Bowden dropping one on them in the rival game and a bowl loss.

Deano, compare your boy dixon to my guy Tebow
Heres Dixon:

Heres Tebow:
http://sports.espn.go.com/ncf/player/st ... rId=183484

Ok,lets see-Tebow has a better rating, better percentages, and better rushing numbers, not even to mention broke more College and conference records this season(in his first season as a starter nonetheless) Heres the proof and weep with it my friend, Tebow kicks your boy Dixon's ass.

Better than Michigan State? Definitly. Michigan? Coaching in front of 107,000 peeps every weekend? It don't get bigger than that. Michigan needs a coach with some imagination to get the most out of those top recruits. Finally. I saw a list of candidates on Mike & Mike and was shocked to see ol Jon Gruden on their. I'd hate to have to root against Michigan. :?

Deano, your starting to sound jealous of the SEC. No need to. Its just the way it is, the SEC will ALWAYS be the better conference. You can still take pride in the Pac 10. By the way, is this where your conference got their name from:

Sec/PAc 10 debate

Postby xflajrnylvr » Wed Nov 21, 2007 7:05 am

IM just going to add my 2 cents however worthless it is

I am a huge gator fan . But I believe DD would have won the heisman if he had not fucked up his knee in the thursday night loss and they wouldnt have lost that game either. I believe if Tim Tebow stays in school the next 2 years he will win one and maybe 2 heismans and the gators will compete for the NC both years if he stays .

Gonna be 4 losses when they match up with the Illinois Fighting Zooks in the Capital One Bowl...you know the bowls are wetting themselves with the possibility of a Zook vs. Florida game.

Man, I put the stats right above for TT and DD. Tebow was kicking his healthy ass. For part 2 of your statement TT will stay in school all the way thru. He grew up a Gator, his parents are Gator grads and his older brother is there getting ready to graduate. This is his lifelong dream to play QB at UF. His family is not hurting for money in the least so he is well taken care of and is the big man on campus. He said when he was at home he had Gator posters on his wall...his parents have a Gator mailbox in front of their land in Jacksonville-and its been there for years. No problem here-he will finish his Gator career fully.

There you are again with numbers. The Gators have played these juggernauts:

North Dakota State
Tennessee Tech
North Carolina CENTRAL
Rutgers.

Boy, I don't know about you, but those teams bring the shakes every time they visit!

Man, no offense because we have no problem with Illinois but no way Zook finds a way to beat Urban Meyer. His second half "prevent defense" would not stop TT. We dwarf him in our talent pool. I would love to see this matchup though, as would many other Gators out there.

Yeah but you're picking your stats from the same retarded, drooling, helmet wearing, short bus riding people that came up with the BCS ranking system. I wouldn't let those assholes organize my spice rack let alone trust them to give you anything but their skewed view of college football and it's players.
