Why the hell not? Seen Schon. Been there, done that.
Wanna see Perry. Why is it they HAVE to go together? They're not Bert and Ernie.

Maybe they should be tho. They did go well together, u have to admit. Perry's voice & Neal's guitar = magic.

I don't dispute that the two made an unbelievable team. That was never in question.
But that doesn't mean they are or should be tied together forever. Obviously Schon has been performing without him for years, and if Perry were to ever perform again it would be without Schon so we'd be forced to take them separately anyway.

A better question for the poll might have been "If these two lineups are playing on the same night in the same city at different venues, which would you choose to see?"

And my answer is still the same. Perry and Smith.
Already saw FrigFro Inc. Want to see Perry and want to see Smith.
Though even if I hadn't seen Journey, I'd still pick the Perry/Smith package.
FrigFro gets no mo' my dough.

That's a very good point. Aynsley Dunbar is my favourite living drummer. :)

Omg, THAT'S what's in Neal's pants. It was never a sock. It was Frig's rubber.

I didn't say he was neccessarily Journey's best drummer, but I've always liked Aynsley. He's drummed with pretty much everybody on the planet, (David Bowie, Whitesnake, Frank Zappa, Jeff Beck, Jefferson Starship, John Mayall, etc....) so he's got a lot going for him.

Oh, and I'm 15 by the way. 16 on 22nd December. I demand presents. (No more age arguments, it's annoying enough as it is being the only person I know my age who enjoys living in a 70s time bubble....)

Get used to it. People are gonna joke with you about your age here and there. Don't take it too personally. :-)
BTW...Happy Bday....but you're gonna have to respect that the 22nd is MY bday.

Well, you said he was the "best living drummer", implying he's better than any other living drummer, which would in fact include almost all of Journey's drummers.

My question to you is, if Aynsley is the best living drummer... who then would you call the best drummer, living or dead? If you return with the correct answer you shall earn lots of respect from me. :D

Of course it would be Frig's rubber. I think we ALL know that Fro has never heard of, used, seen a rubber.

Ew, please. NOT before Thanksgiving. However, if Liam bends over that gives me free rights to shove a Chistmas tree up his jolly ass. (Much love, of course.)
