Check out this awesome singer from Italy!!!

Hey everyone,

Just came across Italian singer Malcoun from a mutual friend today. He covers Journey pretty damn well! He's awesome on "Ask the lonely". I was told he's a fan of my music and is wanting to record some songs, so you may be hearing a collaberation soon!!! From everything I've heard, his vocals will work great for one of my projects! I'll definitely keep you posted...

Let me know what you think.

He's got a rock star look, but to be honest, I think you can find better vocalists to collaborate with. His accent is really pronounced and his vocals sound pretentious.

He doesn't have a natural vibrato. It sounds forced, like he's trying emulate something he's not capable of. His voice sounds better when he sings a straight note without vibrato. If I were producing him, that's what I where I would lead him vocally.

OUCH!!! I appreciate you being honest, but man! His accent is pretty pronounced, but I don't mind as long as it's not over-powering. He's also singing Perry, who's probably THE hardest singer in the world to cover. I'm actually not looking for a Perry clone, but I really liked his versions of the songs. I think he's got the right texture to his voice for my stuff. I definitely appreciate your input though STORY_TELLER!

P.S. If you DO know of vocalists who are wanting a project, let me know! I'm always looking for new people to jam with.

I don't know if he's looking for a project, but I rather liked this guy's emotional delivery and vocals overall. Natural vibrato. I think his delivery would be even better if he wasn't multitasking singing and playing keyboards. It's a plus that he's a musician and not just a singer. Check out his breath control on the final note of faithfully.

I do agree that he's got a natural vibrato, but I'm just not too big a fan. Besides, if he plays keys, he wouldn't need me! Lol!!! I do think he's very talented, just not the tone of voice I'm looking for.
