So is Mclelland full of shit?

Postby Rockindeano » Thu Nov 22, 2007 5:17 am

Hmm, former White House press secretary says Bush and Cheney did in fact mislead (lie) about the CIA leak.

I need to hear the GOP spin on this. Cannot wait!

I care. I'm a conservative that voted for Bush twice. So this greatly concerns me.
This could be just sensationalism to promote the book. It could be true.
There's plenty of plausible deniability to go around.
It happens in every administration in every country all the time.

The only truth we'll ever know is that we may never know the real truth.

I'm in.
I like to sit out on the front porch, where the birds can see me, eating a plate of scrambled eggs, just so they know what I'm capable of.

In a CNN interview earlier this year, McClellan made no suggestion that Bush knew either Libby or Rove was involved in the leak. McClellan said his statements to reporters were what he and the president "believed to be true at the time based on assurances that we were both given."

McClellan's book, "What Happened," isn't due out until April, and the excerpt released Monday was merely a teaser. It doesn't get into detail about how Bush and Cheney were involved or reveal what happened behind the scenes.

Oh no, I'm sure pumping up the book sales has nothing to do with it.

Considering the wealth of information I have learned in the last week, not a chance.  I could bury the guy (and another former singer) with factual stories and information, but I respect his privacy and love him as an artst (Perry) way too much to do that. So instead, I'll stick to mindless rants and random cheap shots.

Thanks. Just wanted to know the real truth. I figured Scott was full of shit. After all, he was the face of the administration for 4 years. What could possibly make me think he was a Bush backstabber?

Thanks for keeping my faith in this no nonsense administration. For a minute there, I thought there was a chance I couldn't really believe anything they said, but now, I am back on the Bushwagon!

Yeah well if he ever gets caught smuggling documents out of the National Archive in his socks and underwear in a blatant attempt to rewrite history and cover up administration faults. I'll let you know so you can be proud to have a straightshooter back in the WH.

This is serious stuff and McClellan might be the first to testify against Bush and Cheney with some credibility.

Yeah, well they need to find something else to talk about now since they can't talk about Iraq anymore. :D
