OT: Global Incident Map

Postby Rick » Thu Nov 22, 2007 5:00 am

This is cool. When you click on the web site link below, a world Map comes up showing what strange & dangerous things are happening right now in every country in the entire world.

You can move the map around, zero in on any one area & actually up-load the story of what is going on. It is amazing when you can see the things that are happening right here in the U.S., sometimes right in your own state or even your city.

This "map" updates every 300 seconds...constantly 24/7.

I like to sit out on the front porch, where the birds can see me, eating a plate of scrambled eggs, just so they know what I'm capable of.

Now that is cool.

Big stuff happening downunder...right now some dude is chained to a railway line.

Always something exciting here in Oz.

Sweet! I've bookmarked it as well. Since I moonlight as a crime-fighting superhero, this will come in very handy! :P

Dayum this big ass state is boring! The only incident listed was from the valley. Pfffftttt.... Guess everyone is resting up for the blowboys game tomorrow.

I did see where some doomsday idiots are threatening to blow themselves up in a cave, in Russia. Hmmmm.... Think the ptb will save themselves some time and money on that one?

gosh if that had been a few years ago you wouldn't have even seen Britain on the map.. it would have been one big mass of little symbols...there aren't so many different factions setting incendiary devices/ and bombings like they did now, amongst many other things that have gone on....it used to be almost everyday, especially when i was kid, especially with letter bombs they were bad they could blow your hands off if you opened them... :?
Its weird to see what is going on in the world isn't it, and quite sad too :?

Although the actual site/map itself is very clever :)

Nobody ever fucks with China or Canada. What's up with that? Maybe it's because they leave everyone else the fuck alone.

Ayhup... BLOWBOYS. Stopped supporting them the day Jones was self-crowned idiot in control. Finally got rid of the prima-donna "pleasegoddon'thitmeI'llruntheotherway" Aikman. One down, one to go and my father may actually bring me back into the fold.

Now, the real question is... Burnt Orange or Maroon?
