Postby Saint John » Thu Nov 22, 2007 4:37 pm

THAT'S when I tell my friends to talk shit about Steve Perry and Journey...they usually shut the fuck up (save an asshole or two). That video is live vocal and musical brilliance. Incomparable. 8) Let's see the Beatles do THAT!!! :x

Amazing indeed! But there are background vocals added after the recording was made. ;)

That it is. It's pretty crazy. Best concert in my opinion, I can't think of other rock groups at that time that rival it.

I wish they'd release a live concert dvd of an entire show from the Raised on Radio concerts!!! Even though they were using pre-recorded backing vocals, that was a great show! Nothing like seeing Randy with his colorfull attire! LOL!!! It really was a great concert.

Dan- I was never a huge Beatles fan. I only owned 1 album. But,they changed music forever !!!!! Before that all we had was Elvis, Patty Page, Patsy Cline, Doris Day and a few others. My mom had a mini stroke over their hair. I was studying piano and I told her" Mom, symphonies will play their music. In 1969, the Boston pops was playing Michelle and Yesterday. They had copies like the Dave Clark5 etc but late 60's brought the Rolling Stones, Led Zeppelin and Aerosmith. Then rock music really exploded. Amen to the Beatles !
