Happy Thanksgiving to all my American friends. Canada's Thanksgiving was last month, same weekend as Southbend MRfest. For those travelling, safe travels. :)

I like to sit out on the front porch, where the birds can see me, eating a plate of scrambled eggs, just so they know what I'm capable of.

we just had Guy Fawkes night over here at the beginning of the month, and Scotland celebrate St Andrews Day at the end of the month, but the holidays start in December for us..I have a week and half's leave for Christmas....

But anyway, I hope you all had a nice holiday and your turkey was delicious :)

Happy Thanksgiving to everybody!
On my way to better things......I found myself some wings

Dream the joys of pearls and gold, And our angels wings in flight unfold.

I wish all my American friends safe travels and freeness from family feuds today.

May your stuffing be tasty

May your turkey plump,
May your potatoes and gravy
have never a lump.

May your yams be delicious
And your pies take the prize,
And may your Thanksgiving dinner
stay off your thighs!

Happy turkey day. Stuff yourself, sleep, and watch football.....come on, it's tradition.

I know I am thankful. My life is great, tink about all the horror and suffering in the world, I and many of us are blessed to live in our conditions.

Too often we humans have a regrettable tendency to focus too much on our petty problems and complaints, while overlooking the many, many things we should be thankful for.

Here's an old expression my father taught me (he used to say it when I was a boy, and complaining about something inconsequential):
I complained of having no shoes -- until I met a man with no legs.
