one of the most underrated bands in rock history.never did get the attention other bands of that era did.i say extreme and tesla both were probably two of the best from that period but are not as well remembered.

I am "Extreme"ly excited about this. I saw Extreme play on their Pornograffitti Tour and I could not believe the energy. I was SO worn out after that show. Gary was a mad man. I love Nuno's playing although it often sounds a little too much like EVH. I am a little disappointed that Paul Geary is not on drums. I was "in" for the Bands Reunited show that Nuno blew, but I know he is in the business side of the music world now. He blew me away during the encore of Hole-Hearted. His Bass drum kit fell apart (a smaller kit seen in the video, 1 snare, 1 cymbal, 1 bass) while playing and he managed to keep it together enough to get through the entire song never missing that drum beat. If you remember the song, you know how 'up-front' or important that beat is.

As for Nuno working with Perry, that rumor is how old now? It could have come out near the end of their time working together. Of course, was it ever verified?

What I don't get is.... Gary LOOKED the part, ROCKED the part, SOUNDED awesome, with Extreme, yet...he totally came off so wrong with his limited time with Van Halen. He looked, sorry to say it, really "not macho" on stage with the VH boys. He turned alot of female fans off in the group I was with. His voice sounded muddy, slurrish when I saw them in concert with VH. After that performance, I knew his days were numbered and sure enough...a few weeks later. But damn his antics, singing, etc, in Extreme are top notch! (At least in all the vids I've seen.)

Despite what the band said, I always felt Gary was a forced fit. He was a square peg in a round hole...

Well, usually, I have a target for my peeing...

However, I can confirm upon seeing the news about Extreme reuniting, I did loose control of most of my faculties and I was forced to not only change my clothing but get out the Natures Miracle! ;)
