Yea OK....you realize that the Packers played like shit yesterday, right?

And still won.

I respectfully disagree with your take on running it up. Hell, run it up. Make a statement. If you can't compete, get some players who can. This is the NFL, not Pop Warner. There are no soft hearts. Be as crude and mean as possible. Look at the Pats. They have created an illusion that you can't beat them. People are talking as if they might be one of the greatest of all time and we haven't reached the playoffs yet! I still say they will lose in the playoffs and not reach the SB, but I believe in putting the hammer down and keeping it down.

All I know is I loved hearing the repetitive thud as all of the New England fans that bet on last nights game went diving out of windows because the "Greatest team of all time" couldn't even cover the spread against the lowly Eagles.

I can safely tell you that we New England fans give less than a shit about whether or not the Patriots cover some Vegas line! It's about winning the game, period, end of story. At the end of the season, they ask how many (as in wins), not how many did you win by and how many point spreads did you cover!

I'm already on record as saying someone will beat the Patriots this season. There is a reason that only one team has ever gone undefeated in the NFL and I can assure you that it's not just a coincidence that it happened in 1972, when sports coverage was VERY limited, and ESPN wasn't even thought of! The media frenzy hasn't even really begun yet, and when it does, someone is going to sneak up on the Patriots! For what it's worth, as a lifelong fan of the team, I honestly could care less if they go undefeated. The objective is the win the Super Bowl, not listen to the over the hill Mercury Morris, Don Shula, et. al. wine about their hallowed record!

As for the prediction...First and foremost, I'm excited that this should probably be a pretty good game. The NFL has been replete with some DREADFUL matchups this season. Having said that, I think Dallas is a fraud of a team with a complete buffoon for a head coach. Coaching matters more in football than any other sport (just ask San Diego who is 6-5 with the same team that went 14-2 last season)! Even though Owens has had some good games, he has a propensity for dropping more passes than any "elite" wide receiver I've seen. Dallas is better than Green Bay in one area, and that's the running game. Green Bay has a better D, better receivers, and a better and more experienced QB. That's why GB takes this one by 10 points!

I'd agree with you if the game wasn't being played in Dallas. Favre has never won there.

It's completely irrelevant! I can tell you that as a kid growing up the Patriots NEVER, EVER, EVER won in Miami! Funny how nobody ever mentions that any longer. Stats can be VERY skewed, and this stat is a classic example of that. I believe Favre is 0-8, all time in Dallas. What most people don't mention is that three quarters of those losses were more than 10 years ago, when Favre was a MUCH younger and MUCH less experienced QB! Talent almost always wins out, and I believe GB simply has a more talented team, and a much more competent coach!

I don't think so. I remember in the '80's when the Raiders were good, much better than the Seahawks. They seemed to have a hard time winning in the old Kingdome.
With Favre he always seems to turn into a mistake prone boob playing in Detroit. I thought it was gonna be the same old song on T'giving when he tripped on the first snap. Thankfully the Lions got beat. Some guys just have a hard time playing in certain stadiums.
Your example of Miami and NE is irrelevant as NE sucked when you were a kid while Miami was generally the dominant team. The roles have reversed.

Phillips is definitely a Tard. Dallas, however, is NOT a fraud.

Um, dude, the Chargers went 14-2 last year. This year they get a 1st place schedule. Top that off with them running their head coach and hiring a retread(from Oakland no less), and bingo, you have a good team struggling.

Favre and Green Bay go into Dallas and win, 24-20.
