We should get a big group to march around that store with signs supporting JSS or with some of the photoshopped images that have been floating around here, LOL! That would be so freaking great!!

Ahem: it says that it's -- get this -- "the world's first guitar with robotic technology." Hmm. Ok then.

The "FRObot"...Maybe it can be programmed to fire band members so the guitarist doesn't have to get his hands dirty.

I haven't been posting much. Been in front of a sewing machine, getting some quilts done for my kids for Christmas. And really, there hasn't been much I wanted to say! Lmao!

You're quilting with a sewing machine??? Shit... if that's a good way to do it, I've been bass ackwards for years... I still use one of those huge ass frames that takes up half the damn house.

The first quilt I did for my youngest daughter I did by hand. The next two I did by sewing machine, Rhi. I only do basic ones, not those fancy ones. Whatever old clothes are in the house, they get cut up and used as quilts! I am doing some recycling here! ( Also it doesn't hurt getting material for a dollar a yard at Wal-Mart either!)

Sal are you talking about making the tops or actually quilting them to the backs?
Blue Radio Girl wrote:ohsherrie wrote:Rhi are you talking about a hand quilting frame or a mechanized one?
Hand, I learned to quilt in Carroll County... I didn't even know there were mechanized ones.

I make the tops, then sew the backs on, then I put fill in, then I use yarn to make the little tie thingies on them. I still have to fill and put the yarn thingies on my oldest kids quilts. Then I will be finished with their Christmas presents! (Thank God!)![]()

That's the way I make baby quilts Sal. It's a lot of work but it's a good feeling when you're done.
