Actually Rhi is right, it is the shadow from his hand/mic. When I first saw the pic I thought it was sweat. The lighting is bad in that pic.

Songs don't have to be slow to be ballads.

Slow paced , Yes,,,, but not all ballads are love songs,,, well at least not in my opinion.
