Hey, I have no reason to defend him. I liked him when he played for Newman HS and followed a couple of seasons at Ole Miss. Fuck the Giants.

Like I said, I loved Aikman. The 'Boys were my team before Favre came along... don't believe me? Ask my older cousin who forced me to be a Cowboy fan. (It was either that or the Redskins as a child, and ... um ... HELL NO.)

Hun...I'm actually glad you're a GB fan rather than a Skins fan.

And let's not forget that Pittsburgh also lost to both Denver and Arizona, also! That moron Merrill Hoge went on NFL Live (on ESPN) two weeks ago said Pittsburgh was the best team in the NFL (and he was completely serious), and this was even after they had lost to Arizona and Denver. I sent the guy an email, telling him he doesn't deserve to be on the air, expressing ANY opinions! He's too stupid! It's one thing to be a homer for the team you played for, but at some point, reality has to enter into the equation!

Brett Favre. Okay, okay... my Daddy made me to be a football fan, as did all of my cousins (also men)... when I was real young I just went along with what my Dad and Matthew liked because I didn't know any better. Then, in 91, went to a Falcons game, saw Brett, remember how fucked up his last name seemed, developed a MONSTER crush on him. The next year he went to Green Bay... I followed, and you see, over the course of 15 or so years, I've just assimilated.

Long story short, I'm really just a Favre fan, but I stay loyal to the teams too. 8)

(You asked.)

Let's not forget the "squeak-by victory" against the 'Fins.

I'm sorry...but "field conditions" being the cause of a win or loss....BULLSHIT. Learn to play on every surface like you should've in College/High School. Lowest scoring game in MNF history. 3-0. Looked like a Goddamned baseball score.

I was born under the Bears' dynasty of the 80s.
...But yeah, I miss Landry. He and Lombardi were the bestestes.
Bart Starr, Unitas, Staubach... damn. Not only did I miss some great concerts, but I missed some great football too. :?

Don't feel too bad. Staubach is my "football hero" and I was alive for 1 game...the he retired. Seeing the 70's replays though....he was fucking amazing. Break a tackle, scramble, rifle a shot to the endzone. They didn't call him "Roger The Dodger" for nothing.

1 Super Bowl title and a few playoff appearances does NOT constitute a dynasty. Continue... :D

If you mean the team of the mid-80's as in the team between 1984 and 1986 then I agree. :D
So I'm guessing you were born in 85.

You're a Raider fan... I mean... years ago (at one point, I'm sure) that was acceptable... but now?? C'mon... One of my other cousins turned out to be a Raider fan too, mostly because of the way the fans dressed on gameday, and he wanted to be badass too.
