It's not going to work... no one no matter how casual a fan is going to buy into this incarnation.

And if the casual fan is sitting far enough away and they cut his hair just right......may just pull it off. I'm sorry but the worst part (most comical) in all this is they have created a tribute band of "themselves". Why do Brian May's comments keep coming to mind. :? If I was Perry, I'd be pissed.......I'd want it specified on every single ticket sold.

Exactly what have I posted today that constitutes ramming him down ur throats? Or yesterday? Oh yeah, I said back to Chf that I'm a fan of his but only b/c he brought it up. Gee how many times a day does someone here mention they're a fan of someone? Sometimes it's said about people I've never even heard of. What about u & Bryan Adams? Do u think maybe u ram him down people's throats? Different rules & standards for u huh?

I'm not bringing him up at all. U are. So if u want him not to be mentioned, stop doing it, get off my case Dean & call off the rest of ur pack.

Not a fair comparison. Bryan Adams has sold how many million records? Already widely accepted as a great artist and singer. No one is aware of Arnel exept those in his area and on this board. People already know if they love, hate or are indifferent to BA. Arnel hasn't had a chance to prove himself. Yet his singing has already spoken to your soul and you're trying to convince people how wonderful he is. Then again I'm sure Dean can defend himself. :D

RF u missed the point. The problem here is I haven't brought up his name in several days or said anything about him (except in my response to Chf's attack where I merely said I'm a fan).

Whether you've made fawning posts over him recently wasn't what I addressed. I pointed out that BA can't be shoved down peoples throats because he's established and most are familiar with his music and performances. Arnel is NOT. Completely different.

Are you saying you didn't mean to use Dean's fondness of BA as an example of people shoving artist X down someones throat? I think you did and that's the context I used it in.

No that wasnt the point of my post at all. Try reading it instead of just finding something in it that u can attempt to humiliate me with. I know that's ur agenda, it's pretty transparent. Would u prefer if I stop posting entirely? If so, why dont u just come out & say it. I hate all this beating around the bush.

What I don't understand is if you people are really pissed about Journey's decisions, why are you still posting? I don't think your minds will be changed, but you're not going to change any minds eithers.

I just pointed out the difference between the 2 examples. Don't care enough about anyone on here to try to humiliate them. I don't care either way whether you post or not. You may find it easier to post without as much conflict if you'd been able to write something like, "Oh yeah, you make a good point" Instead of plowing ahead with a ridiculous comparison and then playing the victim card. Just sayin'.

Why would I say someone makes a good point if I don't think so? There was no victim card played in my post so please give it up. I get conflict here from a total of about 3 people & ur one of them.

What Is This Thing In Life That Persuades Me To Spend
Time Away From You?
If You Can Answer This You Can Have The Moon.
This Is The Place To Be, Anyway You Can See
There's A Lovely View.
Why Are There Always So Many Other Things To Do?
Distractions, Like Butterflies Are Buzzing Round My Head, When I'm Alone I Think Of You
And The Life We'd Lead If We Could Only Be Free
From These Distractions.

This is truly one of Paul's best.....Brywool, some words here? :)

You need to stop...stop with the "Would you prefer I stop posting here" card. It gets old. Look Susie; I like Arnel, BUT, you seem to have to "spin" him into your replies in every post. I think the guy is awesome....BUT, I don't have to plug him every chance I get. I don't "plug" BA...BA doesn't need the juice. Like Raiderfan stated, BA is established, rather well(Yes Beshad you twinkle toed cocksucker  ), so to try to bring BA and I into this is moronic at best.

Susie, we know he is your guy. That is cool. However, changing your name every month, playing the "quit" card is making you seem very unstable. Stick to your guns, and post, but rather than play the victim card and "Deano is mean card" just rely on facts.

Carry on.
