If Journey FUX singers, you would want Arnel (as someone who is impressed) to avoid this gig like the fucking plague. Much like the Augeri haters once said - " Go make it on your own".

Journey is despecable.

If Arnel plays somewhere on his own, I will be much more likely to give him a chance.

Journey will be on their 4th lead singer now. (really 5th). The 1st is a legend. The second was contraversial to some, but deserves respect. The 3rd bailed them out and kicked ass and was officially named the new lead singer - only to be screwed over and NOT in person. The fourth potential 4th was the most qualified but got his balls busted because he loves his wife and had a newborn (reprehensible by Journey). Chalfant has been out there and capable forever.

So Journey goes and finds a mimic under a rice pattie? Sorry. Bullshit. I actually do wish Arnel the best, but this reaks of cheap ass bullshit, and if it costs me my spot on MR then so be it. This is garbage and they guy is decent in an American Idil sort of way, no better.

These "awesome" reviews you speak of are the same ones Augeri got. Diminished tickets purchased (not one sellout post-Augeri in the U.S.) and the European promoters that were less than pleased gave Journey only one choice.

Did you see Journey with Jeff? Tickets were stable. Hell, Def Lippard was the draw anyways. You think your boy AP will sell concert tickets? Haha, enjoy your show at the Chicago Sun Times Home Depot show in Chicago. What band would dare go out with Journey? And, if they do go out alone, they aren't going to draw 4,000 souls.

Also it was an absolute pleasure to see JSS in Maryland and South Bend. Huge mistake letting that guy go as Brian May has made very clear. But if they had to screw up, then Jeremey was exactly who they should have gotten. He knows how to sing the entire catalog - PLUS.

I would have been conflicted regardless, as I felt Jeff was the answer and still do.

However Frontiers knows Journey's material better than Journey does. Jeremey can sing the songs and it made sense.

Arnel makes no sense and reekes of idiocy, control and a cheap fuck with multiple ex-wives.
