I wonder if JJ's going to do EOTT? Or VS Survivor songs for that matter. The latter seems obvious, but just wondering for the first point

Every time that I've seen him in the past he has always done many Survivor songs including EOTT, and I would expect that to continue.

Its alright by me, however, there could a misunderstanding about Survivor's BIGGEST hit. Especially when he's going over to the UK. Its still getting good sales (as far as I understand) online (not JJ on vocals version to be sure). The original EOTT is still being played on worldwide radio.

THIS IS MY OPINION and MY OPINION ONLY! Eye was not JJ's, never was, so why should he sing it?

He's GOING to sing Eye.

He's always done it live, in or out of Survivor.

Here here Silver. Dave is the voice of Eye Of The Tiger. I have heard Jimi sing it solo and it doesn't compare. One reason is his band doesn't play it well. FS is a big part of the song wether people like it or not. Has Dave done an acoustic version?

Hopefully this will encourage Survivor to play in the UK for the first time ever!!

Just as any artist live, he can sing what he wants...I saw Van Halen sing Led Zepplin's 'Rock and Roll' and Cinderella sing 'Sweet Home Alabama', however, he has no business using that Rocky III poster to advertise or implying he was the singer of that song...

The Rocky III Poster is coming from the promoter, not from Jimi. I have frankly spoken no problem with it, but at least you're right with what you said.

I have more problems with the Name "Survivor's"

JJ has no shame and this is a fraud. The song was clearly written with Dave's vocals in mind. What a friggin joke. What's next? Is JJ going to wear a damn beret!

It's a factually accurate piece of promotional artwork.
Jamison WAS Survivor's (singer) as the poster alludes to and he has sung Eye live and Eye was in the movie Rocky III.

This may not be happening if the financial rearendidngs at the hands of one of his ex bands Jamison alleges continue to this day were not happening.

No shit. We didn't know it was sung in ROCKY 3. It wasn't sung by JJ and to imply it is unethical. If you are honest with yourself you know damn well it's not the same song with JJ singing it. It looses it's teeth. So go ahead hide behind the excuses we all know the truth. What's else does JJ want to take credit for? Real Men Of Genius adds.

It's happening because JJ has a history of doing this bs.

It implies that he will sing that song live, it's not implicitly implied that he sang the studio version.

What's unethical is not paying your lead vocalist for his work on an album you've released.

If you have a problem with it, then do what you threatened to do when the recent Jamison interview ran here:

Alert band management of Jamison's slanderous/libelous accusations and MR.com's irresponsibility in relaying them.

I notice Survivor/Sullivan has yet to do anything challenging Jamison's holdings as false.

Is there fire where there was smoke?

You have no evidence he wasn't paid other than some bs interview. Hell was jj sober when he gave the interview. The poster implies he was the original singer it's that simple. He's free to sing what he wants but not to imply he was the original singer. I have a question for you Red? If JJ is such a friggin' aor legend than why does he need to use Survivor's name and make implications that he was the original singer of Tiger? If he's such a legend than the name Jimi Jamison should speak for itself.

And YOU have no evidence that he WAS paid.
It's he said, she said and Sullivan's silence has been DEAFENING.

To put it in YOUR litigious parlance, if Sullivan was slandered by Jamison or libeled by the interviewer, "where's the lawsuit?"

Or might he think he couldn't win, because the facts are on Jamison's side?

First of all RED, I don't know what country you are living in but in this country when someone makes an accusation you are innocent unitl proven guilty. Not the other way around. If cry baby wasn't paid than where is the evidence? Surely he had an agreement on paper. If JJ had evidence than clearly he would have gone to court and gotten his money. Why didn't FS bother to comment? Maybe he has better things to do with his time than to respond to a drunken tirade.
