Here's a new poll for you - how many people call Coke or Mountain Dew "pop" and how many call it "soda"?

I always said "Pop" growing up and when I moved to Florida, no one knew what I was talking about so I was FORCED for the last 17 years to call it "soda".

I've always been in the "soda" camp. When I was in college, (University of Missouri, which is in the middle of the state), you could tell if someone was from St. Louis or Kansas City by which word they used. Soda=St. Louis, Pop=KC.

LOL, my thoughts too. We call it "Pop" here also. Soda sounds like something from the 60s that you'd get at the drive-in.
