this is an excerpt from a very good friend of mine who is very close with Steve and Lynda and their families

"Steve is singing his heart away and recording songs. We miss hearing him perform too, but someday soon!!! I promise."

they will be visiting steve in a couple of weeks in NY so I expect a little more info on anything coming our way from him

I did some research, and found this so far:

Diamond Angels' 4th Annual Fairy Tale Ball — Under the Sea

November 17, 2007
The Diamond Angels are a volunteer organization that raises money for Joe DiMaggio Children's Hospital Foundation. This year will mark the 4th Annual Ball which will be held at the Westin Diplomat Resort & Spa. The event consists of a golf tournament, pro-am tennis tournament and gala with silent and live auction. Please call the Foundation Office for sponsorship and ticket information.
Could this be it? I found some other info about the event that seemed to have a conflicting date. Here's the site for the foundation, which contains contact info:
