OT: The Corrs

I'm listening to "In Blue" for the first time in a LONG time and I just gotta say that that they really sound good. Not to mention that all 3 girls are fuckin' SMOKIN' hot. Anyway...I've got a couple of other albums by them that I'm about to dive back into. If ya haven't listened to them...try 'em out. :-)

RIGHT ON, dude! I first saw The Corrs singing the song "Forgiven Not Forgotten" on an episode of Beverly Hills 90210 and went straight out and bought the album. They are gorgeous! (and quite talented!)

Come to think of it, I believe I also first learned of the Goo Goo Dolls from a 90210 episode (singing "Long Way Down"). Same situation -- I went right out and bought the album. TV has been good for promoting new bands.

I saw a song from an episode of Smallville once by a band that I'd seen in a very small show at the Roxy in L.A., and they had given me a free EP afterwards. It was cool seeing a band who had struggled on the Strip (if it was still called that) being signed and having a song on TV. Trying to remember their name...

Thats one of my favorite albums, they are awesome. I think the reason they didnt take off here was just bad timing.
after the eighties rock / pop bands required no talent and lipping to make it in the U.S. THEY CERTAINLY DONT FIT THAT

check out there dvd's great performances!

I have been pimping the Corrs here for a long time Liam. Andrea, the lead singer, is the hottest of the three. Their harmony vocals put the Eagles to shame. I have a couple of their concerts and can send them to you Liam if you like.

I had such a boner for those girls, I would watch their videos and find my hand flying up and down about 235mph on my cock.

No Frontiers was played at Trevor's Memorial service.

I have their version of Dreams, the Fleetwood Mac tune, if anyone is interested, let me know and I will post it.

Andrea Corr is the girl in St John's avatar.

I'd appreciate it...but I'll let ya know when I get a cable modem. (Can ya tell we're behind the times??)
I've got Dreams as well and it sounds better than Fleetwood Mac. They're really talented.
I'm stuck on "Give Me A Reason" right this second...any live versions of that? And I MUST agree...Andrea is the hottest..but I'd still nail the shit out of the other 2 as well.

LOL! I used to have such a crush on Yasmine Bleeth, then I saw that photo when she was arrested, and remember thinking for the first time that she might not be completely out of my league. It gave hope to a young man! :P

Here's what she posted on her blog after those images began to circulate:

"I've sat by in silence for a long time now about the way women's bodies are constantly scrutinized. To set the record straight, I'm not upset for me, but for all of the girls out there that are struggling with their body image ... Like all women out there should, I love my body."

All joking aside, I totally agree with her...

I do too. There are too many problems associated with women trying to look like a Barbie doll. She was built like a brick shithouse before. I guess she decided enough was enough, and drove her ass straight to McDonalds.

Love them, and not just because they're ridiculously hot. As much as I love hard rock, progressive rock, jazz, etc, sometimes it's nice to hear some pleasant, well-produced pop music that doesn't insult my intelligence. Really liked Borrowed Heaven, hopefully that won't end up being their last 'real' album.

I liked Andrea's solo album too, although I don't think it did that well, which is too bad, I thought it had some good stuff.
