There are other clips.

Yeah, I was just looking through some stuff because I thought there were more too.

Alex only mentioned that it was ok to post this clip. I tend to err on the side of caution.

OK, I'll keep my other one private for now.

I have 3 clips I think.

I'll talk to you about that at the Annex. :P

Sad thing about this is tho that at the time some people knew about Jeff's future in Journey. Yes , you all know who you are.

Lar, Jeff was just one of us that night. He and his sweet, beautiful wife just came and hung out and ate with us and, I'm starting to gush now so I'll just say, it was great.

Survival of the fittest!

Postby Muggins » Mon Dec 03, 2007 8:33 am

Two great singers. Of course one is intentionally impersonating Perry, as that is his job as a tribute band and Jeff publicly said that he never wanted or intended to sound like Steve Perry. Plus Christ knows how many dates Jeff had performed prior to that... any idea!

Jeff has amazing stamina and always gave it his best, even under very bad circumstances. In hindsight, is it any wonder that Neal sought out Jeremey, even before he told Jeff they were getting rid of him, as Journey obviously wanted an impersonator, instead of a singer who could bring so much more! Surely Jeremey must have known that he was going to replace Jeff, even as they sang together! That's creepy. I don't feel comfortable with that thought.

Shivers!

Whatever went down both JSS & Jeremey are very cordial and respectful to each other. I look forward to anything that either of them do either in a live setting or recording.

Jeff's next solo album and Frontiers in Baltimore, MD on 1/5 for starters.

Journey and their management are the assholes.

Actually I wish there was more of Muggins avitar to see. It's a shame because just when it start to get interesting, it stops and loops over.:o

I still think that the dude "Jeremey" in the white shirt did a better job singing then the other dude, but hey, my taste may be different and I'm not famous or anything so thats that. Does sound pretty cool that people are throwing private parties like that though.

I'm sorry, but I don't think you know what you are saying :? Do you even know who the original singers are who recorded that song?

Jeff Scott Soto is the "other dude" and he was Journey's last official lead singer. He does a great job singing the Journey tunes but Rolie's parts aren't all that challenging to sing, hence no real vocal "theatrics".

How did you end up on MelodicRock and have to refer to Jeff Scott Soto (AND Jeremey) for that matter as "those dudes". You don't think anyone's buying this, do you?

Jeff can sing the higher parts. He was performing the Rolie part on this song though. He's a chameleon and can sing anything.

It is just a great clip.
