1.) It was what I was reading on the net, I saw it in Wiki, not so much that Arnel had in fact gotten the part, but more it was/is speculation. So since it was/is speculation accordning to Wiki, I then started to check out what the word was in the various Journey forums, and that lead me to here.
2.) I'm a fan of Journey because of the timeframe I was in high school and Journey was one of the top popular bands. I'm a fan of Journey as I knew it with Steve Perry in it. I just kept on playing the songs I used to listen to by Journey such as Separate Ways, Open Arms, etc.
3.) Sure I lurked to a degree, but I didn't go much past what was being posted about Arnel joining up with Journey. I hadn't given much thought to JSS or JH. See what you've done, you've got me not doing quotation marks any longer and I'm now putting in a bunch of charactors instead of names and titles. Dammit!

That was an INCREDIBLE weekend all around! One of the best so far. Mojitos, Jello Shooters, Karaoke... Amazing! Oh, and let's not forget the police that showed up. "The person that called said it sounded just like Journey singing..." little did she know that the real lead singer from Journey and the best Journey tribute band were the ones performing for us.
And then of course... "Oh Dan, your ride is here..."
It's such a shame it was overshadowed by the BS that followed just a few weeks later. What a bunch of tards!
