Postby ScarabGator » Tue Dec 04, 2007 5:53 am

Why do you ask retarded questions, over and over?

If Steve Perry ever went back to Journey
......Fuck, that's hard just typing it, yet you probably mulled it over for 3 days, thinking how best to word it, write it out, and present it.

No, I'd say it would be the other way around.......Steve Perry featuring Journey

If Steve Perry ever returned to Journey, the four horses of the Apocalypse would be sliding in on his tails right behind him. We would have a lot more to worry about than how to score front row tix.

In the bunker getting ready to put the roof over me waiting for the incomming. I think America Idol Journey night would be perfect for him! He could do the mentoring thing and do one or two songs. I could see this going over big and if he wants to see what the reaction to his return would be a good way to test the waters......

Legally, he can't do that without Neal and Jon's permission as he is no longer a member of Journey. If he could, it would be the highest rated show in AI history.

No. They have BOTH broken the binds. He can do whatever his heart tells him to. Neal and Jon can sit on dildos for all Espee cares. He can do AI if he wants to. He cannot profit from songs they had a hand in though. That is the difference; but he can perform any song anytime anywhere, regardless of who wrote what.

Today at work someone told me that they don't think Steve Perry can sing for Journey anymore because he perminently damaged his voice. I'm not sure if this is true or not so I thought I'd run it by everyone on this site, if anyone would know if that information is fiction or fact, I'm betting someone here would know. So is it true that Steve Perry is no longer able to sing?

Certainly not like he was able to. He's done some backup singing in the past couple of years, and there's some pretty heavy wear on those cords. He still sounded pretty good, you could definitely tell who it was.

If you want to hear him, he sang a song with a band called Guff just last year called "I Can See It In Your Eyes". And in 2004 I think, he sang a song with David Pack called "A Brand New Start" from his "The Secret of Movin' On" album.
