Thanks Drew, but I'm done.

Mindless rants, photoshopped avatars and sour grapes posts tell me that you're NOT done. I know, I know...you're done supporting them at shows and with CD sales. Their Wal Mart deal is all but pre-paid so the fact that your only means of "hurting" them is not going to concerts will only increase the crowd's collective intelligence, not to mention add to the overall asthetic concert going experience. STAY HOME.

Equally subtle and brilliant SJ. A cd of new material might be worth a listen. The re-do of the classics is not gonna make it to my ears. Even being a Chalfant fan, I never listened to his tribute cd. :D

Now, now, Beamer, Saint John. Remember we're all friends here remember. What ever happened to the guy Rodney King who said, "Why can't we all just get along?" Oh yeah, he got shot in the face!

This post is 100%, unconfirmed speculation on all counts.

I agree and disagree. Jeff had his own sound and twist but Jeremey was a Perry sound a like. I don't get the argument Sherrie. Jeremey is the ultimate Perry sound a llike. Explain.

That's exactly what I mean. Thanks Deano.

Good news Andrew. I, for one, am excited. So if that means I get yelled at and told that I have no spine and no morals and no soul...so be it. I support what I like. And I like Journey's music, so I'll keep buying it. I wasn't even born before Journey's last show with Perry, so I only know post-Perry Journey. And I have good memories from post-Perry Journey, just like you guys who were lucky enough to see Journey with Steve Perry do. I gave Augeri and Soto and chance, so now I'll give Arnel a chance.

Andrew, keep reporting the Journey news sir. You haven't let us down before.

Andrew, as always, thanks for the great news...
I'm looking forward to new Journey music as they are my favorite band.
I will preview the new album and if I like it ,I will buy it.
Going to a concert is an "iffy" thing..depends on how close they come to my house.
I'm just not jumping up and down about any of this due to all that has transpired this year.
NEW Music with Jeff would have been great, but he is better off without them.

I will not buy a GH re-record... I have the original to listen to any time I want to....Captured is the BEST.

No sticks and stones. please.

Thank you Andrew! I'm pretty excited. I wonder what is "still to come"...

Any speculation here on who Journey will be touring with? And the fact that it says "possibly two other bands in tow" makes me think Journey will be headlining...?

I may be wrong on this, but from what I heard, when Journey toured with Def Leppard, the only reason Journey didn't headline was because Def Leppard had a more elaborate stage setup. That doesn't make that much sense to me, but I did read that somewhere. Probably crap.

False. Def Leppard has their original vocalist and had far more fans at the shows across the country with the exception of California. They'd never open for Journey without Perry. I'd say about 65-75% of the crowd in Chicago came to see DL.
