and the NFL is just boring with out either the PATS, PACKERS or Cowboys not playing on Sunday.

I agree with ya on that one. I hate Thursday games in the regular season (except for Thanksgiving) But don't worry...we'll ALL be back this coming Sunday. Ironically all at 12pm (my time).

We've got the Lions this week. And after the pounding the Viks put on them last week...I'm not too worried.

Place your bets...

Postby Liam » Thu Dec 06, 2007 4:50 am

So...we've got a Thursday game this week...and I was just curious on who you're goin' for. (NIG...I KNOW who you're goin' for.) We've got the Bears and 'Skins tomorrow...so what's the spread? I think the Skins by 7. I've never been good at point spreads...so I figured I'd try once again.

Bears win big at home. Two games in 5 days with Sean Taylor's funeral in the middle is too much for the Skins to handle.

What a joke. I love Brett, but come on? No fucking way is he sportsmen of the year. Roger Federer and Jimmie Johnson are so much more deserving it isn't funny. Brett was picked because he is cool as shit, BUT, he is American and SI is American and 90% of it's sales are in America. Federer is the easy choice, and Johnson was a much better choice. SI is in more of a decline than the republican party. Time to wrap it up SI.

I never said Brett didn't rock. You cannot say Favre has had a better year than Johnson. Take your weak racecar argument and shove it up your ass. It's a helluva lot harder to do than golf, yet Tiger wins this award almost every year, and no one ever complains about that. You have no idea of what you speak. Also, Favre is not as good as Brady or Romo this year, and I haven't even brought Manning up yet.

As for FTW/Anytime, if you can pick that song over DSB or SW for a Journey anthem song, you are a better man than I.

I'm kinda bored with all the "Welcome Arnel" and "Congrats Arnel" threads...so I'm going to be sticking to this one and the Booze thread for the next little while. So...NIG already called the Bears winning the game and I'm thinkin' the 'Skins (still makes me sick to say. :lol)....how about the rest of you?
