I've lurked on a few boards and it seems to be about a 50-50 split in regard to those that wanted Jeff to stay and those that are excited about Arnel's arrival.

While the folks at Metal Sludge seem to like AP's voice, they don't care for the singer change and it seems the majority are very pro-JSS.

Lots of support for Augeri over there, too.

...and one poster wanted a Rolie "sound-a-like" to "protect the legacy of Journey".

Augeri was in the band over 8 years and Jeff has always been held in a nice regard in metal circles. And both rightly so as they both did a nice job during their time with Journey.

It's cool you posted my thread there on here. Anyway I wanted Augeri back. But I will give Arnel a chance. I am impressed by what I have heard from him on You Tube.
