Granted I know the sound was a tad off, but overall this represents a typical sound for our tribute band. No vocals, just a jam from Who's Cryin. Interested in your honest comments, thanks. (What have I set myself up for?)

(so far!)One thing our band does is try to keep a keen eye on the live versions of the songs instead of emulating the cd versions. We like the dynamic, improvised nature of the classic Journey jams. Drum wise I like the power of Dean's playing while still trying to keep some finesse of the master...Smitty.
notme: Drum wise I'm using Tama Starclassic Drums with Paragon Cymbals. The Paragons have a nice bright sound that cuts through the mix nicely.
