I think it's how we see things too, personally I don't like the look of Steve Perry, but I'm not interested in that, it's listening to a singers voice that matters most, they could have a face like a bag of spanners for all I care :)

It's a saying over here, Spanner is a wrench... an ajustable spanner/ adjustable angle head wrench.
