my point exactly. j69 you can ask all the "what ifs?" til you're blue in the face. the fact is perry came along and contributed the missing link to make journey the success they were. i wish arnel all the best, i wish the band all the best, but i'm not interested in their plans. i see them as creatively dry, no desire to move forward just the desire to live in the shadow of what was. i don't begrudge anyone that is into the present day journey, enjoy!

And he seems hell bent on doing exactly that. All the 'what ifs' in the world aren't going to change the situation and neither is playing down Perry's role in Journey's success or making out that they'd have the same success with Arnel if Perry had never joined. It's getting old. :roll:

Amen. It never fails does it? It's almost as if they don't really have all that much faith that the new frontman they're touting is impressive enough, so they try to undermine Perry's contribution to make it easier for them to stand up to the comparison.

It's also funny that "new" fans just seem to come out of the woodwork at times like this. :roll:
