Is it politically correct to say "Female escort, female escort, female escort, amicable December 25th and an emotionally positive new year"?

Sherrie, I love how all the republicans band together. :) Remember your allies here and keep in the back of your mind, the asskicking they have coming in 9 months  Love how they ridicule us, especially after they have collectively fucked up the country and the world. They never cease to amaze me. 8)

I might be philosophically 'conservative'....but I'll be the first to admit that the Republican party has been fucking up left and right for at least 7-8 years. It still makes me sick to my stomach that GWB ran on a policy of 'integrity', likely playing off of a perception that Clinton didn't have any back in 2000.

and Bush's involvement with Enron/California Blackouts displays him for the dispicable fucker he really is (not to mention afganistan, iraq and 911)....

It's going to be very difficult for me to pull a lever for any republican candidate next year, as I think there's a sea of corruption in the party that is larger than the Titanic.

Copy/Paste... Ctrl+C and Ctrl+V.

I'm just gonna start saying "HO THRICE!" and everyone can just fucking deal with it. I'm not going to tiptoe. Everyone else is just going to need to stop being a baby and stop getting up in arms over holiday greetings what Santa should be saying. It's "ho ho ho", it's always been "ho ho ho" and it's going to continue to be "ho ho ho". At least Santa's not an Imus fan, or he'd be saying "nappy-headed ho, nappy-headed ho, nappy-headed ho."

Honestly there are FAR more serious things to focus on.

Yup!

I watched an interesting movie yesterday...which further solidified my opinion on this.

It's called "The Smartest Guys in the Room". It's very brush-stroked description of the Enron scandal, with some attention paid to how Enron manipulated the california energy crisis just to cover it's cooked books.

During the whole process, two things evolved. Bush's friendship with Enron, specifically Ken Lay....and Bush's fear of Gov. Davis (who was, at the time, the front runner over John Kerry, for taking on Bush in 04).

It's clear that both scenario's played strongly into Bush's decission to not get involved in the energy crisis in California, despite good, hard working people going bankrupt at awful energy costs....because doing so would have taken down Enron in a flash and at the same time, put Davis in a position to step right into the white house in 04.

By not 'getting involved' he allowed fucking Arnold to usurp the gov. office (which is convenient in that a guy that can't run for president is now in office in the largest stepping stone to the white house), allowed Enron to perpetrate this hoax for another year or two, and continued to financially opress californians.

The fact that anyone in california voted for bush in 04 baffles my mind!

The amount of people Bush hurt before we ever set foot in Iraq is staggering. Bush should have been thrown out on his ass before 911 ever happened....

So really, 911 / iraq / afganistan is just additional carnage of a corrupt president.

Personally, hindsight factored in, I would have taken another 8 years under Bill than to go through the past 8 years under Dubya....and this, sadly, from a guy that has been a card carrying conservative for his entire life.

The fact of the matter is that I'm not sure where I stand...but I'm going to have a hard time voting for anyone on the republican ticket next year...that's for shit sure.

Well get this. I am voting for Hillary UNLESS....Huckabee gets the nomination. I would change party lines for president if Huck got the nomination. I cannot stand Oprah and her black crusade. That's exactly what it is. She is in South Carolina, and you can hear her voice get all Aunt Jemimany. Soul Sister with that southern drawl makes me sick.

I wouldn't vote for Obama either.

I believe you will see Clinton/Richardson (for the Mexi vote), or Huckabee/whomever.

I'll vote for Hillary if she gets the nomination, but the only conservative I'd even consider voting for is Ron Paul. If the only two choices I have are Obama and one of the leading Reps I'm afraid I just won't vote. Better that than vote for someone that I really don't want.

I agree about Oprah Dean. I like her and respect a lot of things about her, but I think she's doing this for the wrong reasons. Denzel Washington wouldn't commit to her on GMA this morning that he would vote for him unless he was sure he was the right person for the job. You could tell she wasn't really happy about that.

How much effect do you think Oprah's endorsement will have? Will it be enough to get the Obama nomination? And if it is, will Oprah run herself in 2012?

Inside polling says 85% of those asked says Oprah's campaigning will NOT have an impact on their vote. Inside Polling from the Clinton camp says this might/probably backfire on him.

Sherrie, Ron Paul is great, but he has no shot. I hope the GOP puts Guiliani in there, because he is DOA. He is history. Falling like a stone. Huckabee scares the Clinton camp.

Ironic that, a few weeks ago, the two front runners were Guiliani and Clinton....same two that were squaring off with eachother when Clinton ran for senate here in NY. It almost makes me wish we saw that one play out...

I agree that Obama is out of this. Clinton, unless something goes dreadfully wrong, is going to sail into the dem nod.

I think Rudy has some issues that people wont get past....also, he's been towing Bush's line too much for me to think he has any intelligence. Any republican that wants to seperate himself from the pack, needs to seperate himself from dubya.

You are treading on libel now. The onus is up to YOU to prove Steve Perry faked anything. You are becoming a fucking all out joke here.

If anyone has no respect for the legacy it's the guy that disappeared during Trial By Fire only to resurface on Behind The Music with ridiculous statements like "I never felt like part of the band" and "Don't crack the stone."

Again, SP was right. Perhaps they didn't crack the stone, the broke it into a million pieces.

What utter bullshit. You think these guys aren't perfectionists?

What are you high on lately? The only bullshit that is current is what remains of a once proud and great band and your endless need to cheer lead them into the category of mediocrity.

They just have the balls to end things right and to cement the "legacy" so many of you speak of.

This is the single stupidest retarded thing I have ever read on this Board. You're saying Neal and Jon are "cementing" the legacy with the awe inspiring efforts of Arrival, Red13 and Generations and oh I forgot, the soon to be released gem with a new singer? Dude, you have lost ALL credibility.

I know you will come in here and drop bombs and I don't care. Lately you have fallen off the deep end.

I am home and ready to debate this with you.

I know I am opening up myself to a can of whoopass here, but dude you were the biggest cheerleader of these CDs when they were released. And most SJ's comments regarding Perry could have been directly taken from some of you posts a year or more back. Now everyone is entitled to change their mind, but it is a bit ridiculous when you have gone from one end of the spectrum on these issues to the other. They fired your friend and now the music that you once championed is not "awe-inspiring". While it may not be "awe-inspiring", you make it sound like it is now mediocre. So let's not talk about losing credibility.

Let the insults begin.......

Have you noticed that they've been parading Laura and Jenna out quite a bit lately? I guess they're hoping to do a little damage control for the party or something. W is too far gone for them to help his image at all.

I know Paul has no chance, and I'm holding onto the idea that this Oprah thing is going to backfire in the long run. I still think Hillary has the real ace on her side in Bill. Some say that he can be as much a liability as an asset, but I think the ones that are put off by him wouldn't vote for Hillary anyway because they're too conservative.

Dude, check yourself. Of course it is ok to change your mind. God knows I have. So St John changed his mind? Fine. If this is his stance now, then he is subject to criticism.

I did applaud Arrival and Generations, but never went on to say that those two efforts were cementing the fuckin legacy! In hindsight, those two efforts were ok, but not "great music."

My opinions as of today, December 2007, have nothing to do with Jeff's firing.
