JSS rocks, why we would we want a mellowed down version of JSS in Journey? Journey music is a different vibe. I don't like seeing JSS or Deen sing those ballads, ugh...
Disclaimer: JSS is amazing, great voice, etc. But better for his own music or harder rock music. Stand Up And Shout is an incredible tune.

If Jeff joined Journey, its Soul SirkUs.. I think management caught that and they made an executive decision.. Plus,I don't know what label they are on now..Sony? But,I'm betting they wanted to make as much money as they could and it wasn't going to happen in their eyes without a Perry clone..
Cain contributed? The fuck he did. He is nowhere to be found on the World Play CD. Jesus, are you serious?Journey69 wrote: The problem is... Soul SirkUs was all of Journey but Cain, and he contributed..
They also added Marco Mendoza, who plays circles around Valory. Jeff did join Journey, and it was Journey. The guy can change his inflections and tone you know. If he were to sing on a *gasp* Dokken cd, which he has, I am sure he won't bring his Journey voice or his Prince voice. They just added Jeff.. If Jeff joined Journey, its Soul SirkUs.
