Yup. I'm here. I didn't see it before it went to halftime. Is it still 6-3 Bears?

Um, no dude. Very Smart. If he goes in, they are up 11 and there is 3 minutes left. DAL could score a quick TD and then onside kick. This way, Dallas was fucked because the Eagles took off 2:30 of time. Brilliant play, however, I fucking hate Dallas and would have went in to escalate the score.

As someone who could care less about the Eagles or the Cowboys, I thought it was a pretty good play by Westbrook. If you have the opportunity to kill the clock, at the end of the game, that's what you're supposed to do. The bottom line is that whether Westbrook chose to score or kill the clock, it wouldn't have changed the outcome of the game. Dallas had scored 6 points the entire game. I'm pretty sure they weren't scoring 11 points in the last two minutes, which is what it would have taken just to tie Philadelphia, had Westbrook scored!

No. You are flatout wrong. You need to always maintain a killer instinct. The Dallas Cowboys are quite capable of scoring 11 points with NO timeouts in 3 minutes. I have seen it so many times in football. Ask VA Tech who were up 11 with 3 mins to play against BC. What happened? BC scores 14 straight, game over.

Westbrook proved he is smart and that Villinova degree means something. Usually you are right John, but I am stumped on this one. The Eagles are under 500 for a reason. They could easily find a way to fuck that lead away.

Dean...

I agree with you, 100% that ANYTHING can happen in football. Like you, I have seen endless games (remember the Buffalo/Houston playoff game?) end in an unthinkable way. As I said in my post, I thought it was a great move by Westbrook, and if you have the chance to kill the clock...YOU KILL THE CLOCK! There is nothing "weak" about it! I was simply making the point to delusional Cowboy fans that given the fact that Dallas had scored a whopping 6 points in the entire game, it was HIGHLY unlikely they were going to score twice in two minutes, with zero timeouts left, and if they had, the game would have only been tied (assuming they converted a two point conversion)!

I get you on that, however. I would rather have the ball down 11 with 3 mins left, rather than down only 6 or 9 with 20 seconds left.

At least with the ball down 11, you can stop the clock via out of bounds, score, and maybe onside kick it, again, with the ball, no TO's needed. Westbrook is a smart guy.

Love that guy. He came to WSU for a sports broadcaster week of speaking(WSU is the nations leading communications school), and Al was down pounding beers at the Sports Page(the towns sports bar. Keep in mind, Pullman, WA is a one street town with tons of bars. I met him down there and we talked sports for 5 hours. I think I annoyed the shit out of him with my rendition of, "Do you Believe in miracles...yes!" He got annoyed so he got up to leave and 3 of my drink buddies coerced him into our Granada and went to Petes, another bar, where we closed that fucker down! I vividly remember getting hammered on tequilia and dancing with chicks to Billy Idol, then excusing myself and ran, no sprinted to the shitter and painted the walls with vomit. I blamed the guy in the stall next to me when I left the bathroom and a bar employee bumped into me in the hallway. I said, "Dude, this guy in there is all fucked up." I then sprinted through the bar and out the door and down the RR Tracks to my crib. Drinkin and dashin baby! The only thing I fucked up with was those bitches I was dancing with. I could had me some multiple trim that night.

Ya know...I'll hand ya that one. It was a damn good decision by Westbrook/Reid. I'm more pissed about Romo thinking with his dick rather than playing football.

I'm pissed about the whole damn game.

What the Hell kind of player will Philly get for Mcshit? Maybe a used ball bag or possibly a kicking tee. He sucks and his mom is fat and ugly. Take your Soup and shove it up your tailpipe.

I see Frisco making a pitch for Mcnabb.

Fucking Eagles! They will probably win out the rest of the season and fuck themselves with a lower draft pick for the trouble. Assholes ought to bench McNabb and put in Kolb. Gotta see if the kid can take his lumps and get up. McNabb ends up in Miami is my guess.

I'm not sure where McNabb will end up, but I would be stunned if he was with Philly next season. I know the Eagles fans think he is THE PROBLEM with that team, but based on the games I've seen, Philadelphia has FAR more problems than Donovan McNabb! Outside of Westbrook, they don't have a single player on offense who I would want on my team! I don't think McNabb is a great QB, but there are many QB's in the NFL who suck more than McNabb does! Again, I'm not president of the McNabb fan club, because the guy makes far too many mistakes. I'm simply trying to make the point that if Eagles fans think shipping McNabb out of town is going to cure what ails them, they're in for a rude awakening!

I agree with Jeff And Deano on this one. I think McNabb will wind up at one of the 2 places after this season. (Miami/San Francisco) Then again...maybe the Rams will pick him up!? Who knows. I don't think he'd lead any of the 3 teams to a much better record or glory though.

Uh, no thanks. Hopefully the Rams will be focusing on coming up with an O-line that can stay healthy and keep Bulger from getting killed.
