Does Steve leave us messages in the cd booklets???

Postby G.I.Jim » Thu Dec 20, 2007 12:10 am

Not sure if this has been brought up in here before, but has anyone noticed some "hidden" messages in the cd booklets? Maybe I'm reading too much into it, but I wonder if it was planned out by Perry...

1st thing I'm referring to is the Trial by Fire album. He's looking in the opposite direction, almost like he's not a part of them. Wierd.

2nd thing is, in his solo Greatest hits+5 album, he's walking away from the mic in the desert. To me, it's like he's saying he's done...Maybe I'm just crazy, but I think there's a reason why both of those pictures were taken the way they were.

Does anyone else think so, or is it just me? And YES Deano, I already know I'm a nutjob!

And if you play the beginning of Message of Love backwards, it says "I buried Steve..."

You were kidding, right? :P It actually says "Message of Love" backwards. I was always curious about that until I ran across the answer somewhere, and then played it backwards for confirmation. Felt rather silly afterwards. :P

Actually, I believe it says, "Congratulations... If you are listening to this backwards, I have a special message to you -- there is nothing wrong with my hip." :P

It's just very compressed....

That's definately a message.

Also his face is clear and the rest of guys are blurry.

An intense pic, then you look at the book Cyndy worked on for the remaster and all the OTHER promo pics depict a united, at times laughing band.

Weird they rolled with the one that they did.

Jim, with all due respect, you just don't know how thoroughly those little things have been picked apart and analyzed on every Perry/Journey board that has existed since 1998. I think if there is any intent behind it on Steve's part it's to make people wonder what it means, but actually I just think those pics were chosen because he, or someone thought they were the most representative of the feeling of the album.

No it that's not what it says NIG. It says Ssssstraaaawbeeeeerryyyy Fiiiieeeeeldsssss.

I've always had the same vibe on the TBF album. You've got everyone else looking happy. Perry's looking paranoid and away from the band. Prophetic?

I found the hidden message you're looking for:

NO....no messages

and YES...your reading much TOO MUCH into it.

Perhaps you'd like a nice cup of Chamomile Tea - a composite herb (Chamaemelum nobile syn. Anthemis nobilis) of Europe and No. Africa having strong-scented foliage and flower heads that contain a bitter principle used as an antispasmodic or a diaphoretic - it might help the next time you read one of the CD booklets.

 ...yep, this place rubs off on you fast....

Perry looking away on the TBF is nothing more than....I'm the man, the rest are part of the band....clears that one up. The Desert one is simply, fuck the Mic, I'm thirsty as shit...see ya

Yep, this is what we're down to, analyzing pictures for clues of what's about to happen next. Anybody got his handwriting sample? The way he crosses his t's tells me something is amuck. Maybe that long awaited reunion?

Will this work with a CD spun backwards on my turntable? Seriously, other lead singers also have had the same (type) photo shots.

Alright, THAT"S IT! I'm about to start KICKING ASS AND CHEWING BUBBLE GUM...Wait, I'm all OUT of bubble gum!!! They don't call SGT Kick-ass for nothing! I say we just have a good old fashioned cage match and get this over with! Last man (or woman) standing...

Okay, so maybe I'm the ONLY one in here who's crazy!? Just seems like a HUGE coincidence to go with those two pictures out of probably hundreds that were taken! The next person who says I'm wrong can just practice falling down 'til I get there!!!
