If he were so falshly acused, the issue should have floated away gracefully. The fact that this shit is still around a week later makes me scratch my head to say the least. The fact that you and he are agrivating this situation on another board, clearly suggests that some of the very connections I drew were indeed there in the first place.

If both of you wanted to prove such assertions were false, you would have seperated yourself from this person/situation. Instead, you'll calling attention to it.

What the fuck is wrong with this picture?

BTW, Nice avatrar!!! S&TB is one of my favorite movies ever....but the censorship on the TV version is downright awful! The pursuitpack DVD set rights all wrongs in the universe!

Hey, Frank, just so you know. I simply made a post a day or two ago in relation to what Dean and others were talking about in the thread...look back. My point was that lipping is dishonest....if one is exposed for doing it then all should be. Ed jumped the gun and mistook it, so hes the one that brought the subject up again. OK?...subject closed. Now back to our regularly scheduled program. 8)

I didn't jump the gun on anything. You guys were being very coy both here and on that whack job's site.

Guess what Phyliss, what Larry went through last week was NOTHING.

You all ought to try dealing with some of the shit I've have to deal with sometime. If I complained about the times I was falsely accused of doing something, or called out, or had a hate mail sent to my PM inbox, or whatever - there would be daily threads about it.

Frank is right, this all would have been overwith, but you guys wouldn't let it be.

NOW, we can get back to our regularly scheduled programing.

Their backups DEFINITELY are. As for Jon's, I'm not 100% sure on that, but I know they definitely are in the end of "Livin' On a Prayer" when they do it live. VERY obvious. What the heck happened to Jon's voice? He sounds like he's singing through his nose. He didn't sound like that till after the New Jersey album, now it's gotten progressively worse and more irritating. One of the tightest throated singers I've ever heard. I wish they'd go back to making albums like Jersey and Keep the Faith. I'm having a tough time getting into their last few albums. VERY cliche' lyrics. He needs to let Sambora shine a bit more too as far as his solos. Richie's a great blues player. Neal's good like that too, but I prefer Sambora's tone to Neal's.

edit-
I just noticed jrnyman28 said the same thing about the Jon and his voice in his nose! Oops, read the whole thread before replying....

Yeah, what he said!

JBJ is a smoker (unless he recently quit) that's what happened to his voice.

Oh, my God... I positively love Richie Sambora! :D

Always have, since first discovering BJ in the early days. I always thought that his voice was far superior to Jon's. When I first learned of Richie's solo album SITT, I couldn't wait to buy it, sight (ears) unseen (unheard)! 8) What a fantastic album from start to finish!

Thanks so much, Laura, for posting that "One Light Burning" video. I don't believe that I've ever seen it! Of course, I just had to go digging for some more, so here's a few others that I found:

From ‘Stranger In This Town’:
Ballad of Youth: http://youtube.com/watch?v=eXSIybSCSBs (hot damn, I love this one!)

From ‘Undiscovered Soul’:
In It For Love: http://youtube.com/watch?v=Oeu7Y4SBsRA&feature=related
Hard Times Come Easy: http://youtube.com/watch?v=k3iZTfESvkk

I have never met Richie, but have heard from just about everybody (that I know, too! ) of how nice and cool he is. Hmm, let's see...

First, in my early Richie appreciation (eh, hem) days, I was dating this guy (also a guitarist), who I later found out went to the same high school, lived in the same town, and even worked with Richie in a guitar shop (pointed out Richie's old house to me once, too); later I'm dating another guy who simply ran into Richie one night in a bar in NJ and ended up hanging out with him & his friends for a while; and then (and this is the real kick in the ass!) my sister's brother-in-law (who's good friends with Richie's manager) invites her and her husband (his brother) to a party at Richie's manager's house... So, my sister was hanging out with Richie and Heather at a social gathering!!! :x I missed his first solo tour and, from what I could tell, he never toured for the 2nd album in my area. I'm beginning to think that I'm cursed.

Bon411, you live so "close" to me and a fellow rapid Sambora fan, too??? Rumor has it that there may be a Firefest USA in the works for next year, so you had better not miss that like you missed MR Fest! Something tells me, we've got many things in common, girl! 8)

Oh, and BTW, Frank, if you haven't noticed, this is one of those guitarists that do *it* for me. There's also George Lynch, Jeff Watson, Reb Beach, Bill Leverty, Butch Walker, Warren DeMartini, and Nuno Bettencourt... Just to name a few.

Gee, funny, most of my old boyfriends were guitarists, too...

I never knew there was ANY tour for Undiscovered Soul but I just got ahold of a DVD of a Japan show.
