I was listening to Unusual Heat today and it got me wondering, whatever happened to Johnny Edwards, the vocalist Foreigner had on Unusual Heat? I really like that album, very underrated IMO

I've asked this as well. No one seems to know that posts here. Thought he did great on that album.

The last i heard about Johnny Edwards he returned home to his hometown of Louisville, Kentucky and was doing some things around there. Johnny Edwards use to front the Louisville based bar band BUSTER BROWN in the late 70's to mid 80's.

If you like his voice look for a copy of the Ronnie Montrose "MEAN", in which he sang on, also on the same disc is James Kottak on drums. James is now the current drummer for The Scorpions and has been in Kingdom Come and Warrant. If you can find it look for KING KOBRA 3, as he sang there.

In the mid/late 90s someone told me they saw him singing for a rock band on a cruiseline.

Listening to JKNorthrup (2001) right now, with Johnny on lead vocals. Production is a little hollow, but Johnny rocks on the vocals.
Also I got Royal Jelly's two tapes (yea tapes), but my tape palyer is shot, so I have yet to listen to them, but Johnny is the vocalist on these two recordings.
